Reposting from last thread. I need ideas for silly/retarded military incidents set during the Rebellion era. Something on the level of the Emu War, Russian navy, or the USS O'Bannon's anti-submarine potatoes. Doesn't matter if it's the Rebels, Scum, or Imps getting the silly end of the stick, it just has to be something that makes Luigi Cadorna and Aaron Allston proud.

None of them. As a GM I don't need a table of people screeching at me trying to be "first", especially when some of the characters in the game should be much faster than others. Would it make sense for someone playing The Flash in a supers game to go second to The Hulk because The Hulk's player is more aggressive?

This sounds like a system that exists more to be different and to look neat in the rulebook than to actually be played.

Well I imagine it works less well in that case, but most other genres don't have speeds as disproportionate as the hulk and the flash. Also, if everyone is just screeching to go first they probably aren't prone to the kind of teamwork this method works better with.

I rarely use kickstarters, just don't see the point. Other than one or two exclusive items and maybe a cover that has a limited edition cover, you can get everything after the fact. It's a glorified pre-order store these days.

Robotech - should've known better when I saw it was Palladium. Disappointed to say the least.

DCC Lankhmar - really wanted that cloth map dammit! But excited nonetheless

space roller dice- received, they were meh only got 2 so was worth the risk

dropfleet commander- received, enjoy it alot

All that fairy tale stuff you brought upntends to be a bit removed from the rest of the world - feywild and such. When the party explores those strange alien lands, some animals can talk.

They're usually sufficiently freaked out.

Talking animals are fairly common in Ars Magica. Fairies are often encountered in the forms of talking animals because well, fairy tales. Animals associated with the Realm of Magic also tend to develop speech and reason as they increase in might. And even if a particular beast of virtue doesn't talk, it's going to learn all your character's languages once it gets bound as a familiar.

My current campaign has a tanuki who sounds like a mix of Stan from Monkey Island and the THATS A LOT OF NUTS guy from Kung Pow

He is, regrettably for the party, their underworld contact for folklore matters.

They haven't really cares much, but Hasbro is rumored to be making big changes at WotC (in the games, not the personnel) and this is likely a result of that. Which is fine, seeing as how this is WotC 's first interest in Legacy in a long time, and could indicate they want to look at it more often and possibly support it a bit more in what little way they can. Whether that's good or bad for the format is subjective.

Cyberpunk 2021 is one of the oldest cyberpunk 2020 website still around, together with Datafortress 2020 and the Black Hammer Cyberpunk Project - personally, my favorite would be the Black Hammer (best design of all three websites, very good house rules and equipment lists).

In my opinion the extension Dark Metropolis by Ianus Publishing is well worth a look. It describes the life and dangers of a cyberpunk city (stress, madness, drugs, constant surveillance...) including corresponding rules. Grimm's Cybertales by Ianus Publishing has a pretty good alternative system to Cyberpunk 2020's humanity system.

If you want more guns, just get the official Cyberpunk 2020: Blackhand's Street Weapons. It's a compilation of all guns ever designed in Cyberpunk 2020 official supplements and Interface magazines. That said, you really don't need any external resource to create more guns.

Probably because nobody wants to talk about a three-deck format.

I still like to make dumb decks from time to time but with the Standard landscape right now I feel like it's almost necessary to have to beat those decks if you wanted to try to win something you made yourself. I want to run Rakdos Aggro but I know I have to tech in so many things just to counter Catcombo, Mardu Vehicles, GW Humans/Tokens, and that one guy who plays GB Delirium.

That said Amonkhet Sealed is the best draft format right now and I know my shop will be running that on release date, which leaves me excited to go this week. Can't say I'll play much Standard unless I get something together, though.
