I can't remember much but I think I used to be smart I have major amnesia from a brain disease I have some recent iq scores that are 120 wondering what iq was when healthy I remember being a valedictorian in my favorite subject I did the best without studying
>>8962166
>recent IQ scores
are you taking these online? 120 is around the 92-94th percentile. If that is in fact your actual full scale IQ, thats remarkably high when compared with the general population. Students in gifted programs hover between a 115-125 average. The average IQ for Ph.Ds and M.D's is 125. Dont let these "le i got a 160 IQ" people fool you.
I have terrible amnesia and can't remember anything I can't memorize for tests I don't think this will fly in college
So I guess I was smart before amnesia I wish I could remember better I feel sad discovering my past self it's a different person.
Can you help me out? This is more of a /adv/ topic, but I thought this board was more relevant to ask.
I'm in my late 20s now, during my school years I used to really fucking good in math like scoring the best marks in class and shit like that. And when college came upon, I started regressing in math. And now after close to 8 years of working in a non-math related job, it appears i've almost entirely fallen off the math train. Right now, I even struggle to do basic division, its really embarrassing to admit. One of my friends gave me advice that this is fine, and apparently more common with people at this age. But I really want to get back to learning math, don't wanna settle for the current state I'm in.
Can you anons let me know if is possible for me to do it, and if so how and where to start again? Thanks.

Ahahaha, I've got the perfect plan for you! Start with some Khan Academy and maybe one of Gelfand's books (the Algebra one is the best and would provide the most bang for your buck). Then begin your mathematics journey again with a decent booklist.

Khan Academy seems a bit pricey, is it worth it?
can /sci/ explain to me how you can get acceleration from speed , i undestand what it is but don't understand the numeric aplication part, i also don't get the part where you get X with T
you're going to need to elaborate
>>8962065
>can /sci/ explain to me how you can get acceleration from speed
You need a before speed, an after speed and the time it took to get from one to the other.
>>8962065
>acceleration from speed
Speed is a measurement of frame reference differences.

I need help with an equation.
how do i graph a double helix with a start and an end point on the X axis?
Hi, i was wondering if there is a corelation between aspd (antisocial personality disorder) and autism. I know both effect empathy, but what would the main differences be?
>>8962035
>both effect empathy
>effect
It's 'affect' you imbecile.
>>8962035
Most of them are related, Bipolar, schizophrenia, and autism all correlate in family trees.

Damn... You small dicked limp wristed beta boys get so annoyed when women "invade" your creepy little club. Are you still angry at that girl who rejected you in high school? Get over it, loser! Grow up!

Agreed
hey /sci/, in not really to keen on environments awareness and shit but long story short I have a few gallons of coolant I need to dispose of. I know it's mostly just water so it's not as bad as motor oil but what's the best place to dump it? My toilet (septic system) or just outside on the lawn?

>>8962024
Yeah obviously I don't have access to a recycling center.
>>8961969
Ask yourself if you want to drink whatever's in the coolant later when it eventually infiltrates into the water table.
If yes, then go ahead and dump it anywhere.
If no, then find a recycling center.

hmmmm OP are you a Pajeet or a Chang?
ok guys, there is a little puzle going around my town here in HUEland (brazil) and they're offering some kind of prize for the one who cracks this code. here's the translation of the text:
coloring and counting the alphabet
(test 08)
the first thing that we learn in school is the alphabet right? wrong.
first we learn the vowels and the colours, and each colour can be
a vowel. çater it gets easier to learn the rest of the alphabet, counting
vrom the vowels.
[IMAGE]
OBS: the answer must be sent via whatsapp to the number (***) containing
the number of the test and the answer text. if the test sends you to a CEP (post code)
or a CNPJ (National Registry of Legal Entity) the answer will be the name of the street or the
place.
op here,
red = vermelho
green = verde
yellow = amarelo
blue = azul
orange = laranja
5 colours, 5 vowels
Okay, lads. Which calc book you never actually read was the best?
Courant? Apostol? Spivak?
We may now understand the term "brainlet" commonly denotes one who has a disregard for learning the higher truths that we commonly seek after. Let a "shitposter" be one who does not post a quality post, or one who intentionally degrades xer pots quality to attain validation on /sci/.
When OP can be understood to meet both qualities, let him now be a "flat-earther".
If, in the first post, OP manages to imply that because xe has not read a rigorous calculus text, then no one else could have, allow this to fulfill the terms of " brainlet".
If, in the title, xe connects this idea, which shall be now called "projection", with the idea that somehow /sci/ has led xer to this state, and give examples of commonly agreeable texts, let this fulfill the requirement for a "shitpost".
We may now understand OP to be a "flat-earther".
Is the existence of free will a question for science or philosophy?
pic unrelated
Both, but philosophy is mlre fundamental, science assumes some philosophical positions.
>>8961501
Neither. It's a stupid question. Best reserved for religious studies.
>>8961501
Free Will is a joke. We're nothing more than the expression of our genes.
