People who drive non-sportscars, what's the fastest you driven? Me, I drive a VW Tiguan SUV and the fastest I've gone is 120mph. Felt reeeeal squirrelly going any faster than that.

Hey /o/, I'm new to automobiles, a poor-fag and looking for a car.
I love how the cars from the 80's looks and am looking for a commuter from that time.
Luckily I live in the Los Angeles and finding one should be no problem.
Are there any models I should be on the look out that hold up today/have little problems?

Get one if you can afford the expected high maintenance costs that it comes with. I also agree that it is a highway monster and a great cruiser. Ive had a chance to drive a 16' S8 and it made me go from my then-fav SClass to A8 totally. Its my prefereance because the S8 felt more lively and sporty than an S63 AMG.

Early next year I plan to get an Audi S4 in grey similar to the one in this photo. Now I love this car I love the sleeper factor and I'm in love with it. But I wanted to hear some of your guy's opinions. Ik I could get a C43 AMG but mercedes can become expensive to maintain. And thats another thing I'm going to ask. I plan to keep this S4 for 5-7 years or possibly more. Will it last me?

As a detailer I can tell you that Honda leather just doesn't hold up over time. I've seen too many fucked up honda/acura interiors. Toyota's isn't great either, but it is better than Honda's.

Are there scaled functional engines you can buy? i like cars and all but the main thing i like is how the engine and transmission works but dont really like the idea of buying an old car and just taking the engine out of it at my house to mess with because the weight the size and such but a scaled engine or transmission would be neat to take apart and put together again even if that does sound childish

Also a harley twin is a horrible engine to take home and tinker with. It is an amazing abomination of old and new tech with many bits still being done in worse ways because of nostalgia.
I would recommend getting a cheap harbor freight horizontal drive engine if you want to mess around.
