what in the fuck do I use for a bridge wire when brigand subwoofers? google cant answer this simple fucking question.
I have 16 guage speaker wire with one positive strand and one negative strand. I'm wiring this myself and just want to be sure I'm using the right shit.

unlrelated noob audio question
If I put in a home stereo cabinet in my trunk, and wired it up to replace my back speakers, would it sound like shit? Won't be using an amp.
Are there certain values I need to keep it under before it would require an amp?
>>17335863
literally doesn't matter as long as its conductive, speaker wire is fine, only 1 conductor is needed
If money was no object, would /o/ have a racetrack on their land?

No, I would just use a real one more often.
That race track looks really shitty to be honest
>>17335782
The one in the picture, or the one in the videos? The video one is not the same.
Is that a race course, or a fucking golf course?
/o/ am I crazy for trying to trade my car?
I've got a '95 Miata no options and 180k pretty clean though
Dude bit on the offer to trade for his '77 280z with 77k.. is it too good to be true? And if it's not, am I crazy for trading my reliable DD for a 40 year old carb'd i6? Going to look at it after work
>>17335704
Personally I think its pretty dumb especially for a DD, but hey you do you familia.
Trading an already somewhat impractical DD for an even more impractical DD.
t. Miata Owner, (its my weekend car)
>>17335704
As someone who owned a '78 280Z, I can say that car had driven me insane, wishing I had picked up something more reliable. It was still a fun car though, so this decision you'll have to make on your own.
After 1.5 years I ended up selling it and picking up a 1.5k Civic, which I've since installed a few simple mods on.
>>17335741
True but impractical is subjective, I've been DDing Miatas for 4 years. Owned a couple trucks between them and that's fun too, I just feel like this type of deal won't happen again. But I know it's pretty retarded.
Hey /o/. I plan on purchasing a used police crown victoria at an upcoming auction and would like some advice from you car enthusiasts. The car apparently has bulletproof seats and doors and other changes to reinforce it.
The seats are awesome heavy duty cloth but it may already be worn out. They have a plastic backer in the backs so you don't get shanked. Largely they are base cars. With a higher output engine, 3.27 gears standard, oil and transmission coolers. Heavy duty brakes and suspension. That's it. Everything else is an option. The bullet proof doors, lsd differential, 3.55 rear. They are options not standard.
Just get a civilian model. Cop cars are terrible if you aren't prepared to replace the transmission immediately.
>>17335586
Other than possibly being required to replace the transmission, I wanted a P71 because it was built as a cop car. I plan on obtaining a laptop mount to have one next to me when I drive, and it already has a protective grill in front of the radiator. Just paint it black and tint the windows nicely and you have yourself an intimidating yet reliable car.
I don't post on /o/ often, so I might sound like a complete faggot.

How does it feel to live in a commie state?
How are those salted roads?

So what is it like to live in a state that is no longer successful in the motor manufacturing department

Why is the Navigator so comfy /o/?
LITTLE
It seems like the perfect travel car.
Everyone can get comfy in the cabin, blankets and snacks.
Small trailer hitched onto back full of camping and kayaking stuff.
Ready to drive thousands of miles perfectly cozy.
Maybe I'm just being nostalgic
Because it ten fucking feet wide
I can get a good lease car from work and I'd like an off road SUV. Stuck between these though.
The Range Rover is pretty much the best all-round car in the world, albeit quite expensive. That's not an issue (for the time being at least).
The car offers everything I want, but has some flaws. The model I want doesn't come in stick shift. I like me some stick shift. Also, it's a fucking footballers wife car. When I go to the more elite areas of Amsterdam every third car is a fucking Range Rover.
The Mars Rover on the other hand is a highly sophisticated, electric, solar powered SUV that can be operated from a huge distance. It can also operate in a vacuum and literally is unique.
But it's very slow and I wont be using some of its functions like "find water". I know where to find that.
What do you guys recommend?

This is why you NEVER buy a car through a dealership. Literally the most dishonest people in the world.
Wtf! I hate Subaru now!
Wtf this is crazy I can't believe this I'm never going to a dealership ever again
Why are you idiots surprised? Dealer sees a modded car they won't want to do any type of warranty work on it. With that said they are incompetent as fuck with their work and had no business lurking her social media
P0420 and P0340
How FUCKED am I?

Just bought a 318ti, first car, what should I expect and improve? Was it a good choice?
>>17334421
you should kill yourself for thinking that BMW's motorised washing machine is relevant on this board.
>>17334421
expect nothing, improve literally anything; shit buy a real bmw.
no poor choice.
i love bmw compacts
nice job op
get it some lowering shocks and track the bitch.
Buying a used car from a dealership is kind of like meeting a really nice girl. She's pretty, she's university educated, she's had a bit of experience but looks to be well put together. Then a month later, reality rears its ugly head. You start getting calls from the other guys she's been with, you have to pay for her yeast medication weekly; after the first week of hot passionate sex, she just turns into a dead fish in bed, but if you don't take her out on expensive dates, she doesn't fuck you at all. When you realize you've made a mistake, she's already moved in with you and you're stuck together.
>>17332352
This is a poor analogy.
You can fix a car
You can't fix crazy

/thread
>>17332502
There's also the fact that this analogy makes no sense
Any boatfags on this board?
A longshot i know but i'm wondering if a Mercury Marine 3.0 TDI can accept an automobile transmission bellhousing.
I need to know for reasons.
>tfw no 3 liter V6 TDIPorsche
>>17332344
It depends on the transmission and/or bellhouse adapter.
But it is very doable.
>>17332402
I'm absolutely fine if a bellhousing can be fabricated, i just want to make sure there's no funky doodad that would stop a traditional flywheel/clutch coupling.
I know a lot of the older Mercury Marine engines can be done but this is a brand new engine or something.
>>17332418
Bump
No experience here but a marine diesel in a car sounds rad
