Is it worth to buy it? Mileage seems too hugh
Talk him down on price. That would be a great cheap truck
Besides needing tires and a new windshield, which won't be free, it looks like the interior is probably trashed
No more than $500, if it runs well

get that one closer to 1k and it's a better deal overall
Why won't Ferrari or Lamborgini offer a small car? The proportions look nice until you realize how fucking huge the wheels actually are, and consequently how large the rest of the car actually is.
Their least wide car on sale is 75.2 in with mirrors folded in. Second least wide is 77in. For comparison sake, a Toyota MRS with its extremely wide relative proportions is still only 66in because it manages to keep it's size in check overall.

Ferrari is releasing a TT V6 Dino soon
are you retarded
the wheels look too small in that pic
and the car too high
I just got the insurance check back from my 2006 Civic Si that got totaled in a flood, and with that plus some money I had saved up I have about 10k.
On top of looking for other Civics, what else should I be considering? I like quick reliable 5-speeds, but I've never really expanded outside of Fords and Hondas, but there's a bunch of stuff on Craigslist in my range.
> 2012 Mazda3i Touring Skyactiv 56k
> 2007 Mustang v6 100k
> 2006 Fusion v6 130k (It's like $3000)
What else should I look into?
6k 986 boxster/ s
IMS is a meme and chances are it's already been replaced in most cars for sale, it's something to swap out with each clutch change.
It's also the most useful roadster because it's got 2 large trunks.
Oh I forgot
>2010 Elantra 77k

Only one in 200mi is Spider anniversary edition going for 13k.
Unfortunately due to limited parking space at my new place I have to sell my CTS-V coupe and mk6 GTI to combine them into one car.
I'm torn between the 2018 Golf R refresh and a Focus RS. Which one would you guys get?
>>17332664
For a daily?
Golf.
Focus would be more fun, though.
Then again, so would a mustang.
>>17332664
>CTS-V coupe and mk6 GTI
CTS-V Wagon
>>17332682
this, dont be a bitch
get the CTS-V Wagon
So /o/, I've decided on a 525i as my next car, while I save up for a Mustang GT. What kind of preventative maintenance should I perform on it?
>>17332611
insulate the ABS module from the heat of the exhaust manifold better
change the fuel filter
overhaul your cooling system with a radiator and water pump that doesn't include plastic components
if over 100k miles, replace your fuel pump, they tend to fail around 120k
if the seats aren't currently twisting, take both front seats out and cut the plastic sheath around the cables a little bit and reinstall it, should prevent it from ever happening
>>17332708
Thanks anon. I think this is the first time I've ever actually seen good advice as a first response on /o/.

Why do people with expensive cars not take proper care of them?
I go to a richfag university thanks to a scholarship, so I tend to see countless Challengers, Mustangs, Mercs, Bimmers, Audis, and even some Corvettes and Porsches. However, a lot of them are simply badly maintained.
>drenched in weeks of dust and mud build-up
>go to commercial car washes when they feel it's time to wash the car, aka once a month
>not apply any polish and/or wax to the exterior thinking it's "unnecessary"
>don't even apply protectant to their dashboard
>don't even use leather cleaners and conditioners for their seats and somehoe wonder why they have cracks
>spray a shit ton of perfume when they feel like the car needs a smell instead of a proper air freshener designed for cars
I drive a second-hand truck and I properly maintain it, even more than the guy who spent over $70K on his Bimmer. I don't cheap out on the wax, the car shampoo, the glass cleaner, the rim cleaner, etc., I even used a couple of Wipe New products to restore my truck's lenses and black trims and even the brake-dust repellent for the rims.
I really don't understand why these people think car care equipment are a waste, especially considering how much they paid for these premium cars that I can only wish to afford.
spoiled rich kids
to a lot of people they're just cars, man. relax

I mean, come on, why drive an SRT so carelessly?

don't use the "it's just a thing" argument, retard, do you just leave your house dirty without ever cleaning it up just because it's a house?
If it's just a car to you, get a shitbox Kia, why spend tens of thousands on a car just to ruin it? It's a total waste.
So you can get this thing track-tuned, 650HP, magnetic ride for $45k? I literally had no idea until dream building online today.
In the end I prefer the high-revving and godly-sounding GT350R though.
That's the ZL1 1LE, which is 70k. Still faster than anything under 100k and won't overheat.
I'd prefer the GT350R too but the Maro is faster.

What's a good cafe racer for a first timer?
Cafe Racers are a meme.
Get a 250 or 300cc streetbike.
>>17332240
I want a cafe racer. Thanks for the bump though
>>17332255
Honda CB
Kawasaki Z or ZR
Triumph Thruxton
Husqvarna is making a bike for 2019 that's pretty cafe racerish. All in all avoid cafe racers for a first bike. They are most likely beat to shit and chopped up poorly
Why is the new Civic so huge?
muh crush safetility
Because you posted the 4-door sedan version.

Thats a hatch
The place I am working at part time has had a Kawasaki GPZ (I don't know the displacement yet) sitting in the corner for a while.
I asked my boss what the deal with it is and he said it was there when he bought the property, and I can have it if I want.
The registration sticker says '85, so that is probably the last time it ran.
I've wanted a project bike for a while, but don't have a lot of experience. How difficult would it be to fix/restore something like this?
Why wouldn't you take it? Just empty out old fluids, borrow a battery, and check fuel/air/spark.
Take it if it's free and you can easily obtain the title. Otherwise avoid it. If it's been sitting you'll need to likely rebuild everything except for the engine and transmission. Mwaning all chassis bearings will need grease at best, replacing at worst, likely new fork seals and definitely new fork oil. If the fork tubes are rusted or pitted you'll need new forks. The brakes are likely no good from sitting and the calipers and master cylinders should be rebuilt and the lines must be replaced. Both drive sprockets and the drive chain likely need replacing. All your control cables are likely in need of replacing. You will certainly need to rebuild all the carbs and install new tires.
This is all assuming the engine and electronics are okay. If not good fuckin luck lol.
Like I said if it's free and can be registered for the road easily enough it might be fun to dick with. Just don't expect it to be reliable or even safe to ride unless you put a few thousand into it. You will spend more time working on that thing than you will riding it.

Is there any sort of guide for how to do stuff like this or do I just find a problem and google it?
Ever remember one of those cars that you could have sworn were never actually made? That were in magazines and posters, but you always wrote off as concept cars, but forgot were actually made?
>>17331766

Is the holy pinnacle of racing also big in the US or do they only have that one for inbred alcoholics that only turn left because their cars can't handle corners?

Surely this is a fucking joke.
>>17330364
It's not surprising. The new supra doesn't target the older fans, Toyota is looking for new buyers. Also, auto only is getting more and more common on high end vehicles.
