Did I overpay or get a good deal for my stock 2004 vape machine?
$9200,
57k miles
Mechanically it's all good. main problems are just cosmetic. pretty bad gutter rash on passenger wheels. one dent, and a few scratches and rock chips here and there.
full service history from a independent "Subaru specialist " in my town that everyone on forums recommends.
Nearly ten grand for a nearly 15 year old car?..
You could have bought an Evo 9 for that money, but probably not in near that condition.
It's hard to say if you overpaid as it's so rare in that condition.
It'll treat you to plenty of more miles, you'll probably still get 7-8k for it if you sell it at around ~100k miles
I'd say it's a fair price if it's what you wanted, not a steal but not massively overpaying
Hey again /o/
Awhile back I posted a thread asking everyone about the Crown Vic and what I should look for. Everyone told me to buy a grand marquis instead. I bought a 2010 with 48k miles and some bad repair work at the rear.
I found a few business cards inside of Virginia district courts and a sticker that was registered to Virginia state police (I'm MI)
The Engine looks like pic, Did I snag a police package engine?
>>17390529
Nope, the police package wasn't available on the GM.
Why do people think just because we have airbag suspension we drive around everywhere with our cars aired up?
I scrape just as hard as anyone on coilovers.

So the rotors on my SUV are warped (Heat from towing, most likely.) and I need to replace them.
I'm leaning towards Powerstops, but I have no experience with the brand, nor do I know anyone that does.
Anyone on here used these things? at $325 for my application for all four wheels, the price being that low almost has me concerned for QC.
>>17390408
It literally doesn't matter on your SUV dude.
>>17390423
Really? Cause I'm not asking in regards to stopping fast, I'm asking in regards to stopping reliably. My SUV weighs about 5,000lbs with me in it, and the trailer I tow clocks at about 4,600. The trailer has brakes on it as well, and I have a brake controller, but I get some pretty serious fade going after a while, and it's concerning.
>>17390442
Is engine braking also used when towing with your SUV? Or your manufacturer says not to use engine braking to help your brakes?
Thoughts on this car?

Footballer car. If you're looking for something luxurious go for an S class or a proper Range Rover, if you're looking for something sporty go for a Porsche.
>hack up Porsches
>glue on over fenders
>get paid $60,000 to do above
>take pics with track sluts

Not be a hack.
Hi /o/, 18 and just got my first car, a 1993 Accord EX. Pic related isn't mine but is the same one.
I'm wondering how you suggest one learns how to drive. I have a pretty good grasp on the basics, but want to make sure that I will pass the California driving test (I have passed the written test and hold a learner's permit)
>>17390190
I had one of these, fucking miss it to no end.
Drive with someone, preferably someone who knows a little bit about cars, take a class, be cautious for a couple years.
>California
Don't they let illegal aliens drive around uninsured and unlicensed there? How hard can the test be?
>>17390190
When you start your car put your foot on the pedal till the middle dial hits the redline and then put it in R for maximum respect

What the fuck happened?
radial engines aren't really even round, the cowling is.
Okay I'm looking for a new DD and a relative of mine is willing to sell a 1993 Mercury Sable to me for 500 freedumb bucks, it's very well maintained with no mechanical flaws and very little to no rust, my question is are these cars any good at all/ what should I be weary of or look out for.
Pic kinda related, it's not the exact car but pretty close.
Anyone else a fan of chemical guys?
Of course they make a lot of bullshit products, but everything else is just amazed

I'm thinking of getting a Mercedes-Benz 190E 1.8L as my first car. Should I or not?
Just asking for insights and tips.
Thanks.
1.8L is painfully slow. get a w202 c230 or something at least.
>slow
>heavy and feels like it
>cheap interior
>shifts feel like cold molasses
>>17389173
Get a twingo.

More than I can admit
I care for it more than most people.
