Mechanically it's all good. main problems are just cosmetic. pretty bad gutter rash on passenger wheels. one dent, and a few scratches and rock chips here and there.
full service history from a independent "Subaru specialist " in my town that everyone on forums recommends.

It's hard to say if you overpaid as it's so rare in that condition.
It'll treat you to plenty of more miles, you'll probably still get 7-8k for it if you sell it at around ~100k miles
I'd say it's a fair price if it's what you wanted, not a steal but not massively overpaying

Awhile back I posted a thread asking everyone about the Crown Vic and what I should look for. Everyone told me to buy a grand marquis instead. I bought a 2010 with 48k miles and some bad repair work at the rear.
I found a few business cards inside of Virginia district courts and a sticker that was registered to Virginia state police (I'm MI)
The Engine looks like pic, Did I snag a police package engine?

So the rotors on my SUV are warped (Heat from towing, most likely.) and I need to replace them.
I'm leaning towards Powerstops, but I have no experience with the brand, nor do I know anyone that does.
Anyone on here used these things? at $325 for my application for all four wheels, the price being that low almost has me concerned for QC.

Really? Cause I'm not asking in regards to stopping fast, I'm asking in regards to stopping reliably. My SUV weighs about 5,000lbs with me in it, and the trailer I tow clocks at about 4,600. The trailer has brakes on it as well, and I have a brake controller, but I get some pretty serious fade going after a while, and it's concerning.

Is engine braking also used when towing with your SUV? Or your manufacturer says not to use engine braking to help your brakes?

I'm wondering how you suggest one learns how to drive. I have a pretty good grasp on the basics, but want to make sure that I will pass the California driving test (I have passed the written test and hold a learner's permit)

Okay I'm looking for a new DD and a relative of mine is willing to sell a 1993 Mercury Sable to me for 500 freedumb bucks, it's very well maintained with no mechanical flaws and very little to no rust, my question is are these cars any good at all/ what should I be weary of or look out for.
