Looking for a first time car for commuting to work for max £2k.
I will be doing about 40km each day, 99% of which will be on a motorway with 70mph speed limit.
What engine type/size/HP should I be looking for to achieve best fuel economy?
Europe here so most likely will be a stick. I know shit about cars.

I'm interested in this 95 mustang for sale. Does this look like a good reliable car to get for fun? I have a Hyundai currently and want something more exciting and powerful to drive. But also reliable. Does this seem good? What are some things I should ask/look out for? Doesn't need inspection by the way for 95 and older.

Hello /o/ ausfag here. I fell for the Australian car meme and bought a 2012 falcon about 2 years ago. Car is about to hit 100K KMS and the interior feels like its starting to fall apart. Constant squeaks rattles, drivers seat creaks like mad (caused by surface rust in the seat rail lel). Oh and the glovebox is warped lol. Basically the piece of shit is starting to fall apart. I had an e46 with triple the mileage that did not exhibit any of this shit. Currently looking at a euro diesel coupe like an 2012 a5 or 2012 330d. What would you guys recommend?

After 19 years and 350 000km my starcraft has served me well, but it is time for change.
/o/ recommend me new van.
Vw transporter doesn't come anywhere close to starcrafts comfort, not looking for downgrade.
And pickups aren't option either, I need vans rear space.

I'm not sure about the 9000, but my 900 turbo has 300k miles and is still going strong. Normal maintenance is enough to keep these things running for a long time, but certain parts that can and will break can be expensive. I recommend finding someone who is knowledgeable or join a club of some sort, it really helps.

Should I ditch my MK3 Supra for an S13?
This car is comfy, goes fast in a straight line and it looks nice but it's not the best drivers car, the steering lacks feel and it feels like the gearchange is from a tractor while the 7M is lazy. An excellent grand tourer.
Should I sell this car for £4000 and get something else? Give me recommendations.

I've owned an s15 and a mk4 supra, which obviously aren't the same car as a mk3 and s13 but should give you a general idea of the differences. The supra feels a lot more solid than the s15 did, it definitely is the better car in most aspects. They were double the price of an s chassis brand new so this is understandable. Where the supra falls down for me is that you can definitely feel the weight of it. This is where the s chassis is better. It feels light and it has much nicer steering feel. I wouldn't say it was faster, just more enjoyable as the supra makes me feel like im driving a boat. Long story short supras are excellent grand tourers as you said and the s chassis has nicer driving feel in the bends but less refined. As for recommendations, it all depends on what type of driving you like.

Sure, they were expensive, but you didn't pay a load of money plus a limb.
Our only "affordable" alternative right now is the 370z, which is more of a GT than a sports car.
