The, Continental limo, which will replace the town car limo
Whatsup br/o/s. I was wondering why my car was acting so squirrely in the wet and I did a walkaround and found that the inner half my front tires were bald, and the other half had badly receding hairlines. The rear tires still have 4/32" tread depth (which is the lower boundary of good depth) but have some dry rot.
I have two questions: what is an acceptable tire brand that isn't too expensive? and should I replace all four tires or just the front two? It's a FWD car, I'm on a shoestring budget, and I live in a four season state.

sounds like you got excessive toe out, you probably need to replace your ballpoints and get an alignment.but I'm guessing your shitbox isn't worth it so just throw the rears up front and get some used tires for the back.
>>17380919
My shitbox is definitely not worth it. I bought it for $1500 and I intend to put as little money into it as possible while still being reasonably safe.
So I have a Toyota Celica that has a damage rear logo or whatever its called and when I first got it I had someone "fix" it for me. He basically glued it together and it doesn't look that good. Otherwise its a really nice car so I was wondering if its possible to fix or improve the look of this, or alternatively buy a new one somewhere. Any help is very welcome.

go to the /sqt/ and ask them if they know what the fuck a junk yard is, and then hang your head in shame, as a thread died for this.

I'm buying a new car. The car I want doesn't come in any colors I like.
Is getting a custom paint job realistic, if you simply want a color that isn't available anymore? Say, a dark magenta, a navy blue, etc, nothing flashy. What happens when you scratch the car? Does anyone actually do this for basic colors? What base color should I buy? Should I just suck it up and go with a factory color?
Just recently got my license /o/, a little late in life at 30, I learned to drive on a yaris and I got used to that particular car it was ok. I had to use a Citroen C3 a few times also and it wasn't much different to the yaris.
Recently my parents got a pic related and I just can't get comfortable in it to the point where it feels dangerous to me to drive it. The seat doesn't go up or down the steering wheel is not adjustable and the clutch pedal is "loose" and feels rough to use the clutch leveled or in hill starts which we have a lot of around here.
Is it my problem or is it the car are there some cars you just never can be comfortable in due to your height or whatever reason?

I'll add also the pedals on the twingo so so damn close together I'll sometimes have to look to know which one I'm one

The only real issues you might encounter with FN2s (and EP3s) are caused by careless previous owners.
Regular oil changes and the right type of oil are important for the high strung engine, as well as letting it warm up before going WOT
Second problem is a worn out shift linkage and synchros due to previous owners doing 1-2 shifts like an Orang Utan, despite Honda trying it's best to avoid these issues with double synchros for second gear.
Very solid cars in general, but not as fast as the other turbocharged hatches if that matters.
EP3 type R or don't bother. Like the other guy mentioned people liked to trash that era of Honda.
my tundra is nice, but now looking for a shit box with good mileage to cruise in and have always wanted a probe gt. easy to upgrade, sporty looking, good mileage. any reason I shouldn't? is there anything out there that is similar that I could cheaply mod to look/sound/perform mean at such a low price?
My friend had one of that vintage and he spent more time working on it than driving it.
>>17379692
desu I don't know too much about cars, but I think they look nice...did your friend just enjoy working on it or did it break down a lot? Know of anything comparable? I'd look into others too, like maybe a mazda 626 or just an older mustang or something
>>17379698
>did your friend just enjoy working on it or did it break down a lot?
It broke down a lot. It was supposed to be a daily driver, but it was never reliable enough to be. He always has 5 or 6 cars in rotation he works on so it wasn't that big of an issue, but it was on of his worse ones.
It is a good looking car, my friend may have just had a lemon. If you can find an unmolested one it may be worth a try.
I thought these were supposed to be fuel efficient?
>>17379649
Are they not?
>>17379649
It's eletric
>>17379649
that's an energetica it doesn't use fuel
This car is an unbelievable value. I got it 16k brand new. I always average over 40, in total I probably get about 42 MPG. On short road trips I normally hit 48 MPG (note that all the highways I drive on are 55MPH and flat, so it boosts milage considerably) and longer road trips southward, which is hilly and much faster, I usually get 40-43. I have NEVER had a problem with the car, it runs perfectly. It isn't the most powerful car, it is slower than a Prius, and it gets loud in the mountains. I honestly wouldn't recommend this car for someone who does mostly steep mountain-type driving, it has to get too high up in the revs and gets loud. The car isn't very quiet to begin with. I am very impressed with this car in the winter. It can get through ANYTHING. We once had about a centimeter of ice on everything, I couldn't walk on the driveway because it was so slippery. I live on the edge of the Appalachian hills in southern Ohio (I commute north where it very quickly gets flat), and the hills are very steep for a driveway over half a mile long. The car got through all that ice without any issue. I was so amazed that I later purposefully hit the brakes and tried to slide around on an empty road to test out the traction and I was very, very impressed. The traction control is amazing, I just put the pedal to the floor and the computer sorts all that traction stuff out. My grandfather's old 4WD Jeep struggled to get out of my driveway more than my car did. The audio system doesn't sound very good at very high volumes, but it is good at normal and high volumes. The car is very plasticy and you can tell it is a budget car, but it is good quality for the price. Bottom line, for the price, you can't beat a Nissan Versa. You get great milage for a great value from a very reliable brand.

This car is fucking ugly, it looks like one of those girls in high school who had big stomachs and no ass, in fact, they had negative ass with the way their back was all sorts of fucked up. If you want to be a teen mom, this is the car you drive. Pathetic.
I'm having some grounding issues in my car where the negative lead grounds to the body. I'm going to remove the lead, and lightly sand the body to give a fresh metal surface, but how do I seal it to prevent rust? I don't want to spend much money, and I don't care much for aesthetics. I got some leftover clearcoat, can I just use this?
rustoleum or molykote
>>17379178
sand the motherfuck out of the spot and use glossy rustoleum. If your car is white like your picture, it will match pretty good, but not until you polish it. Wax it if you are an autist like myself.
Early miatas don't have a clearcoat, so stay away from that
