>My bmw 326i (e36 - 1997)
>gets hot on the way to the shop, short drive
>wont start
>leave it to cool down
>drive home
>notice its getting hot af and is red when i get home.
Ive popped the hood and noticed a few things immediatly.
You can see the stain from whatever ended up in the fan for a start.
To the right of the engine, where the hose meets that metal part and then the box, its leaking.......somthing.
Also, on the left hand side of the engine i saw some kind of thin fumes coming out.
Can anyone tell me what those parts are?
They arnt labelled in the manual for some reason.

Oh, and the coolant reservoir looks like its empty, or at least nowhere to be seen near the "Kalt/Cold" marker.
Have i blown my head gasket?
Is car kill? :(
>>17181313
Heres the stain if that helps,
Its a greeny-bluey white colour
this isnt a problem ive encountered before, and i dont really know what im looking at
Im hopeing some kind fellow could give me a quick rundown, even if its just identifying parts so i can research

ITT: Ask an Internet sales consultant for a high volume Hyundai dealership anything.
I basically contact prospective clients set appointments for them to come down, but I'm familiar with the car business, so if you have questions about the business or whatever, I'd probably be able to give you a decent answer.
22 about to buy my first car, what is the best way to go about it?

Buy a used civic for $3k

You might be able to find used wrx and wrx sti or Lancer evolution for about that
>>17180539
I actually did find one. And It's in really good condition. 50k miles. I'm leaning heavily towards it
People will defend this.
>>17180291
what's so bad about it? it's a spring, just like a round one.
>>17180318
It's a design best reserved for non-sport oriented automobiles like trucks, vans, buses, etc...
It's absolutely asinine that a manufacturer in this day and age would use it on something like the Corvette. People literally have to do coilover conversions after buying their brand new shiny pathetic pile of shit car that still gets wrecked by a generic Japanese family sedan from 2007
>>17181366
Show me on the doll where the Corvette touched you.

"Greddy kit with bov rebuilt turbo emanage ultimate stainless exhaust Bennett built racing ignition custom painted rims orange and black leather interior heated seats power windows locks seats etc. Does not have nav has aem a/f gauge and greddy boost, oil pressure gauge up on dash in its place car has 50884 miles. Has misfire throwing code for rotor 2 misfire and 02 sensor 1 isn't pre heating so it has a code for that too looking to just get out of the car and invest the time and money in my other projects make cash offer just trying get some money back out of it. between the turbo kit emanage and ignition that's 5500 new."
Replace bad coil and o2, done.
I don't know rotaries very well but if I had to make a guess, it's that it's running way too much boost and the apex seals blew out in spectacular fashion
I'd give him 4 and have him tow it to your place

Air goes in apex seals come out
I like my wheels but I guarantee that I'm the only one who likes them.
>>17177582
Why waste money on fancy wheels?
Just get plain steel rims.
>>17177582
I love my wheels, but everyone on /o/ hates them. They're at the powder coat shop now being redone. I went with a different style center cap with Vintage OZ decals to break up the smooth look of the face.
I don't see anything wrong, but I can't make an assessment without seeing the rest of the car.
Just got a raise and I'm looking for a new car. I can spend up to $45k. My commute is highway miles, takes about 35 minutes each way. Some snow in winter, but not bad.
What's something fun, comfortable, and safe? Do I just go 3-series?

Only you can determine that. Read the fucking sticky.

Lincoln Continental
If they got into a fight, who would win?
Doug looks like he's over 6' and has a big reach, but he looks gangly and not terribly athletic. Rob looks smaller, but he's seems like he's seen his share of fights.
Doug, no contest.
Rob just screams the douchebag, manlet aura whereas Doug is just an autist.....who probably has autistic rage.
>>17176900
Doug would stop in the middle of the fight to talk about "so I was driving past a bunch of teenage girls and they didnt eben notice i was driving a GTR!!!! do not get this car I prefer this gt86 right here" and then spaghetti would bite his ears off with those baby teeth
