I work at a concert venue in concessions. The Grateful Dead has the worst fans I have ever seen. I have never seen such uncaring, completely worthless, condescending, hypocrite assholes in my my life. And I've seen it all, I've seen the metal crowd, the punk crowd, the emo crowd, the hip hop crowd, the techno crowd, the country crowd, the indie crowd, but none of them have been as bad as GD.

It's amazing how they're all about "peace and love man" when they only care about themselves as they are dirty pot smoking hippies that trash everything and do nothing but eat food and dance around. God damnit I fucking hate the Grateful Dead, and the music is total garbage which is the icing on the cake.

It's a live document of a disliked era. Not by me, but bear in mind that a good chunk of Dylan's listeners are sixties dipshits who feel an ego investment in the notion of his authenticity, a notion he has devoted careful and painstaking effort to destroying in every decade of his career, but which still crops up even now. Doing showbiz arrangements of his old songs bothered these people.

Also, it came out at a time when there was a huge amount of racism in the West about Japanese rock audiences. Doing a live album in Japan was seen as an intrinsically anti-soul, corporate move.

Why don't rappers borrow from classical indian music and rap in 5's and 7's and 9's? Wouldn't you get bored of rapping in the same sub divisions all the time?

they are both good versions. and desu I think the reason they changed videotape it's because it doesn't really fit the mood of the song and radiohead aren't the kind of band to make songs with the melody oposing the lyrics.
