It's certainly read by many, it won a world fantasy award after all, but I doubt more than a couple other people on here have read it.
It was the guys first book and he wrote it at like 50, you can tell he poured his whole heart into it.

Mostly, they cherry pick quotes out of context and then comment "Can, you believe this guy!?!?". Their presentation of evidence lacks an argument backing it up.

It seems like a shitty rip-off of TLP in its tone of simultaneous intellectualism and jaded chauvinism/pop-culture reference; however, when TLP does it, it's actually sincere, who he is and how he writes, and it endears you to it; this guy just seems like he was really struck by it so more or less unconsciously copies it. He even quotes and sources TLP, so there's no doubt he reads TLP. Also much much too long and rambling for my taste, sorry.

E-published novelist here. To be successful in selling short stories you need an abundance of material. Those that I've talked to that sell short stories admit they have kids of work/compilations to sell. If someone likes your work, you need to have more on deck.
