How do I feel more "normal" about concealed carrying? I've been doing it for about 2 months now I'd say and when I'm carrying I think about it all the time. I'm always thinking about what I would do in this scenario or that scenario, whether I'm printing or not (I live in an area where most people don't carry and guns are stigmatized) and I feel like I'm overly paranoid. I mean I know situational awareness is a good thing, but last night there were these three dudes that my friend looked behind at as if they might be following us, and I put my thumb slightly up under my shirt to get ready to clear the fabric if I needed to (I didn't put my hand on my gun or do anything to even come close to displaying it fyi, nor did I face them), and then I realized that they were just leaving a party and posed absolutely no threat to us. I would not have even had this thought had I not had my gun on me. I don't really think about life or death scenarios when I'm not carrying. I don't constantly think about whether the gun is pointing in a safe direction and if there is even a 1/5000000 of it coming out of the holster and something getting caught in the holster when I'm not carrying. Overall I don't really feel safer while concealed carrying.

Carrying my LCP II is a lot bad like this because I forget it's there a lot of the time, so maybe the key is getting a better holster setup for my Glock 19 so that I can do the same with it (because fuck 6 shots of .380)

But I guess the question I always keep asking myself is this: is it worth putting myself on edge all the time for something that most likely will not happen?

Don't get me wrong I love guns and I love shooting, I don't really mind having them around the house because if someone breaks into my house I know what their intentions are and running away isn't really an option, but out in the open things are different, it's a constant game of judging who might be a threat and who might not be.

Does this go away?

Just moved here earlier this month from the anti-gun Northeast.

Got my NV ID today in the mail and bought myself a LCRx 3" in 22LR an hour later. I took my hasguns to that shooting pit that's on Las Vegas Blvd 10 minutes south of the city that you can see from I-15. Now I need to clean my gun but I don't have any cleaning supplies. Also I think I was getting key-holing on some shots.

What are some good gun shops that have a large inventory of used guns?

Where are good places to shoot?

Good places for the CCW course and additional training?

Hey guys. I'm sorry if this doesn't deserve it's own thread, I just need help finding the right gun.

A good friend of mine is an armed guard for the state I live in, and he asked me if I could help him find a gun.

He's looking for an ankle carry gun and he prefers that it would be a 357mag revolver, I own a few 357's but I just can't think of anything that would be small enough to reasonably ankle carry.
He's looking to spend right around $300 and obviously it needs to be reasonably light to be able to ankle carry.
he said if a 357 can't be done then he'll go with either a 357 or like 38 darrenger or a small 380/9 semi auto.

What should I look for?

Why are so many military robot designs built around being slow pieces of dogshit?

The average human can barely keep track of a dragonfly or hummingbird and yet every designer chooses to imitate the design of slow lumbering pieces of dogshit or they shoot for shitty wheeled/treaded designs that can't change direction in decent time.

Why is this? The human has a processing flaw when direction changes are thrown in, so why isn't this weakness being capitalized on? Speed = well applied aggression

Why does Glock not get with the times? There's many gun manufacturers that offer many and options and front slide serrations for often a cheaper price. Does Glock refuse to listen to the consumer in hopes of leaning on its brand name or does it not truly give a shit?

Keep in mind there was a huge market demand for a single stack 9mm pistol and Glock dragged their ass to release one, all the while the PPS and the Shield were good alternatives.

Im a lefty and own both a G22 and a VP9 and shoot quite well with both. However I can't help but feel Glock is missing a huge opportunity right now.

I want Glock to succeed, but not on "muh perfection" and millions of aftermarket products.

After watching the movie "Patriot" and watched the show "TURN Washington's spies" and reading up on history about how evil and corrupted and ruthless the redcoats brits were towards the colonists and such I have a question.

Why did we stopped attacking the british after the revolution?

Seriously I get it that we fought for freedom and independence from the yellow buck teeth bastards but why stop there? Why not continued the fight and gather up the military strength and go towards U.K. and destroy the rest of them?

Seriously it infuriates me to see and hear that the United States of America after becoming a self proclaimed country and independent nation have not went after the fleeing bastards and ended them all then go after U.K. and destroy that empire onced and for all!

Why later on generations of this nation not raged war against the ungodly nation of U.K.!?

Why are we allied with them and why are we now friends with them!?

After many decades the United States have built up it's empire and is now the most powerful military in existence while U.K.'s military power and strength dwindled down and is now nothing more but a speck of dirt of an army they have.

Why not attack now? We have had many many MANY chances back then to launch an attack against the bastards of that small island throughout the 19th century but none NONE have been initiated at ALL FUCK!

WHY ARE WE NOT ATTACKING THOSE REDCOAT BASTARDS FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO OUR PEOPLE IN THE PAST WHEN THEY ONCE OPPRESSED AND TORTURED AND KILLED OUR PEOPLE!
