Is it possible to make a cartridge that can pierce any amount of armor? If a round is moving quickly enough, it shouldn't matter how many SAPI plates are in the way, or how thick the armor belt is, right?

Are there any Northern AZ bros here /k/? I live in the Phoenix valley and I am fucking sick of it. I want to move up north where it is cooler and I can shoot my funs in the woods. I would like your advice on where to move, my first through was maybe Flagstaff, but I haven't been out of the valley much so I don't know. Looking for the best area for open land shooting fun.

Hey /k/ fairly new to guns here. Just got gifted this rifle from my dad. He didnt know much about it (he bought it of a friend who needed money). I did some research and im pretty sure its a 1917 model spanish mauser. How do I get manufature dates and other info? Also, looks like its been rechambered to 30-06 (stamped on barrel). It has a decent amount of surface rust. What is best way to clean and preserve?
