This benchmark is buggy. Processor usage was less than 3 cores.

It's not a cpu benchmark and it looks like your gpu was successfully stress tested.

if you buy a 200 dollar laptop for your mommy it's going to drive her insane in about a month and it'll be garbage in a cabinet or drawer someplace in the house in 6 months.

give your mom some cash or something if you can't afford to give her anything good. maybe she'll lump it together with the money she gets from blowjobs and buy herself a nice laptop.

Probably, I mean there will always be exceptions for things like the ship being hit by a meteor or some shit.

What does /g/ think of this?

>Meet Anbox, a novel new way to run Android apps on the Linux desktop.

>“Anbox puts the Android operating system into a container, abstracts hardware access and integrates core system services into a GNU Linux system. Every Android application will behave integrated into your operating system like any other native application,” the projects says on its official website.

>“To achieve our goal we use standard Linux technologies like containers (LXC) to separate the Android operating system from the host. The Android version doesn’t matter for this approach and we try to keep up with the latest available version from the Android Open Source project.”

Downsides:

>Unlike similar initiatives that have promised to let users run Android apps on Linux Anbox doesn’t go down the emulator route. Instead, it runs the Android system on the same kernel as the host operating system.

>Naturally this isn’t without its own drawbacks. For one, installing Anbox requires a number of additional kernel modules, and it also needs root access. This won’t suit everyone’s needs.

How come late 90s and early 2000s consumer hardware used XBOX huge power adapters?

Were small SMPS really that expensive to make? So much so that they went with a huge transformer/diode bridge and cap solution.

Probably for durability like everything else made during that era since the literal only market was the middle and upper class that could buy them. Everything is junk now so anyone can buy it

Because they wear REAL transformers with coils and shit and not some switching mode power piece of shit.

E-reader thread?
Just got my first one today, Paperwhite 3, it was on pretty good sale. Im happy with it so far, it works surprisingly well with .pdf too (launched some 600 pages C# book, it was responsive and everything from diagrams to code was readable).
What are some good book sources other than #bookz?
Also picrelated it has some slow internet browser too.
