I study web development and I have to create a full website.
There are no limitation about the technologies to use.
I don't know what to do at all, please help me.
The easy part is important because it's my first year of study.
I am not a true expert that can deploy tens of complex websites by month.

If you don't know what to create, why are you studying web development in the first place?
How about a blog? I'll even subscribe.
I'm a hipster NodeJS developer but NodeJS isn't swag anymore and I want to jump on other bandwagon.
Which one should I choose? Go or Elixir.

Framework/language bandwagoning makes me want to just exit this industry entirely, buy a house in my hometown, and rent a room out to cover my minimal expenses. Community swings are downright ADHD behavior.
That said I enjoy golang, but I don't do any frontend work.

I installed signal the other day to communicate securely, after install and a bit of secure communication my phone rings. The number was Android Secret Services #2000. I answered it, and hear a noise for a little under a second. I communicate about things of a sensitive nature from time to time, and people have actively been trying to breach my devices. I cannot find any type of information of this call, any experience or knowledge of it /g/, or idea as to what may have happened. Is my signal app compromised?
Lay off your vodka, Ivan.
>>59839968
Probably just your average android hacking. You'll just end up with ransomware
This call did not embed itself in my logs either. If it happens agaib I will screen shot. Ive been debating on flashing this phone. Before I installed signal my text messages were being intercepted and manipulated at times via cell tower spoof to give an idea of who would like to know my conversations. Not nickel and dime people.

Is there such a thing as a good wireless mouse?
note that 'good' rules out Logishit
that wasn't even a creative way to call logitech shit, man
>>59839814
Logishit has been the standard nickname since at least 2008. Faggot.
Wireless can never be as good as wired due to input lag
My PC suddenly started up while it was on already and afterwards all my USB3 ports no longer worked, the USB2 ones still do. I tried to restore to before the update, but apparantly there never was an update. How does this work?
>My PC suddenly started up while it was on already
what
>>59839535
yeah, that was my reaction as well. It was just on and then it went to the startup screen.
just on the front panel or also on the motherboard.
if the problem just exists on the frontpanel it could be the usb3 cable which is connected to the motherboard. otherwise ist just a driver error.

What do I do guys? Ive had it for roughly 3 years but I didn't think that it would have issues for at least 4-5. Ive tried most shit like using DDU in safemode and downloading both new and old drivers, and also doing that along side turning it off from the main and unplugging it after an install but nothing seems to be working.
Im completely fucking inept when it comes to fixing shit than what I am building it so can anyone help me out? If shits really bad I don't mind hearing that either.

Why is HiDPI support so shit in most linux DEs?
Using a 13 inch laptop with xubuntu, took me an hour tweaking to not want to fork my eyes out.
Because 99% of freetards are too poor to have a high DPI screen and therefore do not develop for it

Currently worthwhile CPUs:
>G4560 for budget builds (<$500) unless G4620/i3 is discounted over 25%
>i3 aren't worthwhile, unless for single threaded tasks. e.g. dwarf fortress & emulators
>i5 aren't worthwhile. Get Ryzen 5, drop down to G4560, or up to i7
>i7-7700k is good but pricey. If over budget, consider 6700k and/or a locked motherboard + cheaper cooler; not chasing 4.8Ghz capable when you weren't gonna overclock - or get Ryzen 5/7
>R7 for compute/multitask/mixed use
Currently worthwhile GFX cards:
>RX470, RX480 8GB, R9 Fury, 1070, 1080, 1080TI
>1060 is worth considering over a 480 if same/cheaper in your country, or you just play games it's better on for the price. 1050Ti is for mITX builds
>Budget builds: consider integrated graphics over any card weaker than an RX470, unless another's price/performance is better (ie discounted/used)
>RX500 comes April 18th. Vega in May
General:
>Don't feel bound to a specific brand/model. Parametric filters on pcpartpicker can help here
>Consider SSD only for what you budgeted on SSD+HDD combined. Add HDD later once needed
>NVMe aren't worth it just for faster OS boot. They're primarily for quicker loading/saving of files for productivity
>Save money with mATX case/mobo, and if patient by purchasing your parts individually in flash sales

Thanks for no shill OP but 470 isn't that great if you live in the U.S. really. Price/performance for 480 is just too much better for the extra money.

Will Nokia make Android great again?
http://www.knowyourmobile.com/mobile-phones/nokia-8/24138/nokia-wants-make-its-android-phones-new-nexus-phones
>Google’s Nexus line of phones is now dead. But Nokia, under the stewardship of HMD Global, could well bring back elements of what made Google’s Nexus phones so popular with users. Things like stock Android, fast updates and competitive pricing.
>In a recent release, HMD noted it is putting in place a new strategic partnership with Google and Foxconn to further its gains in the mobile space during 2017/18.
>“Most of the smartphones in the market do not have the Android OS in the way it should be,” said HMD Global’s vice president for the Middle East and North Africa Per Ekman.
>“Vendors are adding a skin on top of the OS. Consumers have the right to have the latest version of the OS, and we will be pushing the latest version and the patches as soon as it is available from Google.”
