No, that misconception comes from people who grew up eating flavorless sysco slop and on babby's first trip abroad they went to a place serving real, non-monsanto, non-sysco food. You can find restaurants that serve real food in Murica but those places tend to be located in cities, have Michelin stars, and be frequented by people that your common NEET might refer to as "cucks" (i.e. they have glasses, are gainfully employed, etc)

Who one meal a day here?
I only do 6pm dinners. Avoid breakfast and lunch like the plague.
Right when waking up I do have a caffeinated drink, then around 1:30 another caffeinated drink or a tiny snack high in fiber.
Then between 5:30 and 7:00 at the latest finish a dinner consisting of whatever I feel like eating.
Benefits:
Never worried or anxious about food, cravings go away after a while and you just get pleaantly hungry and ready to eat at the same hour. No "dieting" or restrictions or calorie counting. Always shit in the morning and feel light and free.
Greater mental clarity and reduction of stress.
You stay skinny kind of like this guy in the pic or skinnier.
Cons:
Depending on if you've lost a lot of weight you begin to grow uneasy about feeling full, so when you have your dinner you don't feel like going out or being active, the weight of devoured food becomes somewhat exaggerated or more noticeable when you're use to feeling empty much longer.
