This works fine for me, wish I had something else I could try but this is it for now
I've tried garlic, but they all died due to neglect
Should I move these outside?
I mostly keep scallions and garlic by my windowsill. It started off as a means of making the onions last longer without drying up, it's awesome to have a steady supply of greens. Wanna get into keeping herbs as well, hoping to save up some cash for a basic hydroponic system.
Honestly OP try to swap put the water in those containers every two days. It really does help.

How depressed do you think I am from looking at my fridge?
>>9117827
You have things that require cooking and are organic/healthy, so probably max 6/10. My fridge looks like that when I'm busy with work and hobbies, and I'm like a 2/10 on my worst days.
>>9117827
Why don't you get some real food anon? It might help if you're depressed. Also an outing to the grocery store can do you some good, fresh air and seeing other people.
>>9117827
What's in that jug?
I got some of this stuff because it was half off at the store. What am I supposed to do with it?
Can I put it on rice?
>>9117681
It's just soup. Doesn't the can have a serving suggestion?
>>9117681
this is menudo it's a type of soup, it'd be kind of weird putting this over rice
have you ever had it before? you might seriously hate it if you don't like the texture of soft chewy cow stomach
Just heat this up in a small pot and you're set. You should top it with finely chopped onion, cilantro, dried crushed oregano leaves, and a bit of lime juice as most people do. When you order this somewhere they usually include a form of butter/garlic bread to eat with it; ideally, if you can, buy or make some of pic related and slice in half to toast on a wide pan with butter, but I guess any garlic bread might work.
obviously canned stuff really doesn't compare to homemade or in the least (most) restaurant's quality, so if you hate this don't be afraid to try it again elsewhere! Also don't let the smell throw you off, the cow tripe is usually cleaned pretty thoroughly several times for this, but sometimes people get lazy or something and the soup will smell like a terrible poop soup. Most people who weren't raised on this soup still say there's usually a lingering smell of sssssomething even when it's totally clean; though that's not a terrible brand so you'll probably be fine.
as a final warning, in my experience anyone new to it either hates it or just finds it hard to get into, but those who like it love it

Its saturday night and in true /ck/ fashion i'm getting shitfaced. Today's alcohol of choice is rum and while I am enjoying this Lamb's Navy Rum i'm sure /ck/ is far more educated on the finer chocies of rum.
So riddle me this /ck/ - what are your go-to rums? In addition when you want that premium taste what do you reach for? On the cheap side Kraken tickles me the right way even though it is massively spiced which triggers the elitists. On the more expensive side of things diplomatico (pic related) is my drink of choice. I reserve (heh) diplomatico either for warming up and for those really comfy times.
Sitting in a room with low lighting on a stormy night sipping diplomatico while reading is quite a magical experience personally.
>>9117604
>Kraken isn't rum, you seem confused.
If you want cheap rum that doesn't taste like napalm kraken is not a bad choice - especially given it mixes so well. That said I do agree with you in so much that if you want to drink rum neat kraken isn't an ideal choice.
>>9116820
>Not drinking a Bloody Caesar to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday
>>9117764
Yeah, I'd drink Kraken over Bacardi anyday. Appleton's is okay.
In the not-quite-rum category, Cachaça is pretty tasty stuff but seems mostly unknown in North America.

Alright, help me out here guys:
I'm thinking about becoming some variation of vegan because I simply can't deal with the concept of killing gentle sweethearts anymore. However, I'm not prepared to go all the way quite yet, and certainly don't want to suddenly have to eat just fish either.
As such, I propose a diet plan-
The Repugnant Diet
In an attempt to set things right after watching Okja, I will now attempt to base my diet around only consuming animal products that exploit objectively "ugly" things.
Where would I begin with planning?
Seems like it would be more effort than just eating common plant foods?

What is it about the californa roll that's so addictive? Why has this roll of rice, fake crab meat, and avocado dominated over the western sushi scene with little to no competition? Why is it so good?
>>9100750
It was the first """sushi""" introduced to America, and it became a fad. It's not good though.
>>9100750
I like a great deal of sushi. Traditional nigiri, hand rolls, and even a lot of the Americanized rolls. But the California roll? That shit sucks.
I don't think it's good at all. But it is ubiquitious, and you'll find it at any Westernized sushi place. I consider it "sushi for people who don't like sushi". Boring, bland, inoffensive flavors. And no raw fish that might upset the squeamish.
Anyway, if you like 'em then eat 'em! But personally I find them off-putting.

so sick of retards just making shit up
going bowling later and never been. what kind of food do they serve? this place has a bar so ill be drunk as all hell but ill need to eat. Do they serve the same kind of food as baseball or basketball venues? or is more sit down like dennys?
I think probably three choices. Pizza cheeseburger or chicken tendoes
It depends on the bowling alley, but most serve crappy bar food. Bon appetite!
What are you cooking today, /ck/? I'm making steak
