poorfag. neglected gas bill, they turned it off. probably wont get it back on for at least a month. i've got a tiny microwave, a tiny fry-daddy, and my neighbor felt sorry for me and gave me a hand-me-down slow cooker.
i'm so used to baking and stove-top stuff. can i make a meatloaf in a slow cooker? is there any way to make pasta w/out boiling on stovetop?
any advice for a slow cooker would be appreciated.

I cook about 80% of mine. Maybe more. I keep a few shitty processed items on hand for when i dont have time to cook and i occasionally eat out.

No one will probably believe it, but 100%. I haven't eaten at a restaurant or fast food in 8 years. Just got to the point where it was more hassle than it was worth in terms of food quality, distance to drive, dealing with the public, tipping, etc. Not to mention the fact I live in bumblefuck nowhere where the top restaurant within 40 miles is the 2 year old Applebys they were so proud to get in the county seat.

And there in the lawless backwaters of the internet, I found a community that spoke out to me in pure contempt. A crazy, anarchist pseudo-state that would leave even the maddest of dictators scratching their heads. They goaded me to participate in their ritual "shitposting", or else I was to be cast out as a "redditor" never to return. So being the simple New York boy that I am, I posted McChicken threads, and Jack threads and even tried my hand at Vegan bait threads until I could shitpost no more. While my time here was short, I caught a glimpse of the human condition that only the Da Vinci's of this world were able to capture. A testament to the fortitude of the human spirit, I returned home with a newfound appreciation of the unique and bizarre, and one hell of a hangover. Like they always say... bada bing, bada boom.

Never felt the need to peel carrots if they are being roasted. Heres the chicken. I rubbed butter under the skin and threw in some rosemary and lemon. I didnt know what to stuff it with so i just threw in a few heads of garlic and some lemon.

Where are the feathers? It looks more like poultry. It was probably a rooster anyway. Chickens lay eggs, so they keep those around. Roosters get slaughtered because they are needed less.
