In my career, I work with a lot of trauma survivors - victims of severe physical, sexual, and psychological abuse, victims of violent crime, people who have left religious cults.

There are usually scientific explanations and theories to fall back on when trying to figure out why horrific crimes are committed against these people.

The meth addict who attacks a 7-11 clerk with a hatchet during a robbery is no mystery. He is a sad, pathetic wreck of a human being, and we know the chemical and psychological factors that led to his act. We can piece together why he acted the way he did.

However, every once in awhile I run into a case that defies explanation.

Someone who is completely unresponsive to treatment, but deeply charismatic and manipulative.

For instance, imagine a housewife who one day, and on a whim, tortures the family cat to death. Then she calls the cops and the ASPCA, claiming to have "found" the cat's mutilated body, and starts a neighborhood campaign against animal cruelty. It gets plenty of media attention. She even succeeds in getting the crime pinned on a local teenager who is sent to a juvenile psychiatric detention center.

Her children suspect that she is responsible - maybe she even tells them - but they are too terrified to speak up about it, and she promises that if they do she will make them suffer like the cat suffers, like that teenager suffers, and that nobody will ever believe them.

They live in fear of her, and she revels in it. In public, she lives out the role of the loving and devoted mother. She is active in her church, in the PTA, in volunteer organizations. She is beyond suspicion. This pattern of sadistic behavior and manipulation continues for decades, uninterrupted, due to her spotless reputation and talent for lying.

These are the kinds of cases that leave me wondering if a supernatural evil exists in this world, and if it is manifest in these people.

What if the world and the universe is an eternal existence. It always has and always will exist and in that existence we learn that reincarnation is real and from that we learn the world destroys itself and is reborn every 1billion years. At that 1billionth year, a certain group of spirits are reincarnated on earth (after doing their rounds on other planets) to usher in the end?

Man, how trippy would it be to learn that we are in an endless loop. You may not live out the same life in the next few trillion incarnations, but you still will live a life of a human or another alien species.

Hi /x/ I'm jot sure if much energy workers come here anymore but I'm looking for some opinions or any clue as to what's happening to me. A year ago I was working on my chakras a lot. I managed to activate my third eye to the point where I felt it spinning pretty much all day. Soon I felt energy in my crown. After the summer I stopped because.. Well... Life happened. The crazy third eye spinning eventually cooled down and I only felt it at night and meditating. I often see the blue pearl and energy moving all around me. Recently, it seems like I'm trying to leave my body subconsciously or something idk. Even considered it being a kundalini awakening. I would be in bed and then I would get a heavy feeling all over my body especially the crown, third eye, heart and solar plexus. I would also get vibrations and plenty of tingles on my back. It makes me feel like I am about to do something important but get freaked out and wake up my boyfriend saying I'm freaking out. Anyone have any clue as to what's going on with me?

Guys, I need quick info on how to exorcise a demon from someone who's possibly possessed. Will Christian prayer work?
