I've been doing an extensive amount of research on greys for a book i"ve been writing. it's fictional, but I've been using a lot of references to make it feel more realistic.
I know it's probably common, but the more I hear and do, the more unconsciously frightened I become. when I'm awake, I take a very technical approach. when I fall asleep I am beginning to have night terrors and nightmares about these things, and indefinable feeling of dread when I wake up at night.
now for the most part i think this is just my brain working out all the information, but the more paranoid part of me almost thinks that being interested makes them interested. I've heard they feed off negative emotions. perhaps the research in tandem with the writing, which is horror in nature is making me a beacon.
I do not want this, but I cannot stop this project since I am working a collaboration.
in your opinion, do you think it's just paranoia from late nights, or have i opened up a door, and it will just keep getting wider as I continue?

Hey /x/ I lnow its pretty late, but would like to ask if i linked a set of videos would you give your opinion. I can gice any back story (there is a lot) you guys want. These videos are nothing compared to the rest of what we have experienced at his house. In total there are 3 clips to watch, all about 2 minutes a piece. The most action definitely happens at the half way point of the second and the third video. (Im not the one talking in the videos, its my uncle) He posted them to his facebook account, but he isnt very popular on there so they didnt recieve much attention.

Hi folks, I'm curious about this Empath term I've been hearing about and I think it was vaguely mentioned here months ago. Are they a legitimate thing or some new age bullshit?
Recently strange things have been happening to me and I think it's because I moved away from a negative emotional household and essentially have changed from an extremely recluse person who maybe had 6-8 friends for 99% of his life to someone who has influence in all the communities from the fraternities/sororities, lgbt group, the campus police department, teachers, hicks, niggers, I play the middle man between the druggies and the police even. You get the idea, I'm skeptical about the empath thing but like 2 different people I never met before mentioned that I'm an empath so after a google search I've noticed it describes me uncannily well but I don't want to think of it as some special snowflake thing. There's a reasonable explanation about this, right?

It means you do not need to decypher the typology of energy projected in any direction. Some say "fire" or "earth" or "water" etc... To an empath, all is energy. Same thing with "Positive" or "Negative." It is all energy (and positive/negative can be seen for what it is by observing not the ideas you get from the energy itself, but by its effects in terms of physical as well as spiritual. After the mental associations have been cleared out, and i HIGHLY recommend reading Gurdjieff's Beelzebub's Tales to his Grandson for that, you can observe the mental state of positive/negative as well.) Having realized this, it is possible to use energy as "taking in" and "pushing out," or in another idea, "Absorption" and "Projection." Again, try to see the MEANING behind the words, rather than seeing the words. Hope this helps!

Like I had a weird dream of me being at a Mexican restaurant texting and then it happened. Except it wasn't exact, it's more like a vision almost... Hey lads, so my sister believes she is being haunted. She says throughout the night she has heard scratching on her carpet that stops when she turns on a light. She says she hears someone walking around outside her room and that she has even heard an ominous laugh at some point. I guess I'm looking for any tips on what this might be? Most wont remember but I made a thread about some creepy shit that i saw at my grandfathers house (pic related). I believe the oddities have something to do with the passing of my grandmother almost a year ago, or something in the woods.
The vibe i get from this place is Erie despite not being isolated. behind the house is 100 acres of woods which, at night, just adds to the unsettling feeling in my gut. A few times so far when i go to bed i keep hearing this white noise when the AC goes off. its both soothing and creepy. Also down in the woods and the basement (which has many windows exposing it to the woods) i always get the feeling Im being watched, even in broad daylight. the last 2 nights Ive been sleeping in the basement. i keep hearing tapping on the window but i cannot see anything because the lights are usually on when it happens. in fact it happened like ten minutes before I started typing this. I have a list of theories as to why this is happening.
1. there is a homeless meth addict stalking the house. It is a big problem after all in northern Kentucky.
2. My dead grandmother is attempting to contact me. Ive had countless dreams about her ever since her death 11 months ago and actually sounds pretty cool.
3. There could be some creature or other shit in the woods. Ive seen heaps of dead deer in those woods ever since i was little. with it being only 100 acres, its a bit odd to find dead ones so much especially when they are so much more likely to be simply hit by a car.
What does the people on /x/ think about this? what should I do to further test an of my hypotheses? Im leaving tommorow so any suggestions any of you give me, I will test on my next visit (probably this winter).
