Do you think the fact that SETI exists and NASA takes astrobiology seriously and makes explicit efforts to search for alien life and even put things on probes like the Pioneer plaque and Voyager Golden Record with star maps on them is proof enough that alien life most likely exists?

I mean, people throughout all time and even today claim to have had contact with ghosts and demons but you see no government or major non-profit organizations looking for tangible evidence that ghosts are real... and yet here are millions and millions of dollars going to government organizations and non-profit groups looking for evidence of alien life.

Many normies may look at you like you are kind of dumb when you talk about alien life as most likely real but there are plenty of people and governments that take it seriously and put their money where their mouth is on the subject. If the possibility of alien life was scant to none I don't think these people and groups would be putting the money into searching for aliens that they do. Is the money and the groups dedicated to the search proof enough that aliens are most likely real and a serious subject worth taking seriously?

I was talking with a lad who said earlier like to believe that the mothman is a large owl, that uses echolocation, and has a strong elongated bill that It uses to impale creatures, and than repeatedly drop it and repeat the process. I'd like to ear your thoughts on a scientifically accurate mothman.

i know this isn't a thread of the ayy lmao picture but I'm throwing this out to you guys, maybe create some conspiracy theories. Recently, I was out with my girlfriend and I dropped her sister off at her friend's house. Across the road from her friend's house is a decent looking house with all the lights turned off, except for two redlight lamps that shine, and her friend calls it the Satan house. what do you guys think it is?? I personally don't think a satanist would have a statue of Mary on the front lawn, and personally think it's a photographer using his whole house as a dark room. What do you /x/Philes think??

Is anyone else fascinated by the man-eating wolf tales from southern France in the 1700's? The "Beast of Gévaudan" is the most famous case, but there are actually several such "beasts" that came before and after, including the "Beast of Vosges" from the late-1970's.

Unlike other cryptid cases, the Gévaudan creatures were linked directly a large number of specific, named human deaths - gruesome slayings, with throats torn out and skulls crushed. And unlike other cases, a dead beast was allegedly presented to the court of Louis XV.

Unlike mere hungry wolves, the beasts were said to be stronger, and also a lot more calculating - selecting and stalking lone targets before attacking ONLY their heads/necks, studiously avoiding hunters, and seemingly killing for the thrill rather than for meat.

There are many theories about what these beasts actually were - everything from attack dog-wolf hybrids to serial killers in wolfskins, but it remains a great mystery.

The volume of literature on the topic (especially in French) is extensive, as are illustrations from the era when the attacks too place and afterwards.

You cannot deny this is very eerie and matches up with the scripture of paying for things without the need for money and your unique "mark" in this case DNA. You have to draw circles with your finger almost like 6's...

españolSome days ago I found an old sd in my house which for some photos I found in it I remember something strange had happened to me like 5 years ago.
I was in school, in my school gave graphic design as one of those classes that made you choose among some others in the last years, at least in my country. I was in this class. We went on a trip to the "Sanatorium Duran" in Cartago with the teacher of this class (I am from Costa Rica and here the "Sanatorium Duran" is known for being said to be paranormal things like demonstrations, shouts...)
We arrived, they charged us for entering (what a crap)
The place is tetric and cloudy. It was in the middle of a rural area
we enter
Was a kind of old building of several floors with many rooms of wood and concrete that looked very deteriorated by its antiquity
It was a little scary. My autistic colleagues and companions were taking pictures like crazy thinking that they captured a ghost. Some rooms were locked with locks and security guards constantly came to watch.
After walking for a while we noticed a couple of small buildings a little away from the main building.
We decided to have one of them, I think the other one did not have access.
You could not enter but you could walk around.
There are steps to climb to a kind of roof.
We climb. The teacher took some photos. We went away awhile
The other day the teacher uploaded some of the photos to his facebook and noticed that in one of them was something strange by a window (pic related). Download it, and try to edit it if you found something. Change slightly the levels of contrast, sharpness, brightness ... And I found this (I will send it after this). What do you think of this? I invite you to modify the original photo so that you discover it yourselves.
