Okay so a few weeks ago I moved to a new room and after a couple of days I've been feeling really weird when I'm here. It all started when I started to have some weird dreams (I never dream) and some of them would be related to events in my life the day after I had it. I also feel pretty weird when I'm in the room since it is cold as a freezer and it's summer where I live. The rest of the house is an oven compared to my room. I also wake up many times at night without reason and this never happens to me.
So I thought all of this was pretty weird and then I decided to ask about the room, why was it so weird and they told me someone commited suicide here in the 70's and since I already experienced all this without knowing about it I'd like to hear opinions because I don't know anything about these subjects and I'm not scared but it indeed feels strange.

so on saturday night me and a friend clearly heard a "pssst". i know we both heard it because we paused mid sentence looked around and kinda continued our conversation whilst looking over to where the sound came from.
we stopped our conversation and searched the room to see if my roommate had placed some sort of recording device that could play back sound to see if he was fucking with us. we didn't find anything. anyways. just 10 minutes ago in the same area the "psst" came from a bag tipped over the other way it was facing falling out of the closet.
i'm explaining this like a retard but if it fell the normal way it should have the top of the bag should be closest to the wall.
it seems menial but what could this be and how can i find more about it.

We'd also see shadows darting around, hear each other when the other wasn't home, hear our dogs going crazy outside to find out they were sleeping in the bedroom, etc. It could get really oppressive in there.

I might have been dreaming, but even to this day, it felt so real. They came in, and mom never woke up from the chair she was sleeping in.
Anyone else here experienced in this area? Recently came across some dee emtee and the most I've experienced in meditative states is sort of a wavering hover over physically solid material with living organisms being a little too energy specific to get details. Emotions are sort of easy to get a general feeling, not saying I'm a master but if anyone knows what I'm talking about it would be helpful to know if dee emtee would effect this and help me tap into a closer form of a physical manifestation of myself there. From there the various tele abilities would be the next step as I'd have physical proof in my own abilities. Never have tried the dee myself so that alone will be interesting. Do you recommend a heroic breakthrough dose or micro dosage to improve these effects?

Hello /x/. My dad, usually a very quiet and sturdy man, recently admitted to my mom that last night he couldn’t sleep. He was tossing and turning in the sheets, when suddenly he heard his bedroom door open and what he described to be an “old lady’s voice” say his name. I didn’t get any details of what happened after that, my dad didn’t tell me personally (because I’m sure that would be embarrassing to him, and we’re not all that close) but my mom has told me about three secrets they’ve sworn to keep between each other, and this was one of them. This means she must have taken him seriously, and she’s been with him for over 25 years, surely she knows if he’d being genuine or not, right? Anyway, that’s besides the point. I fully believe my dad’s claim, so the question is: what caused this? At first I thought perhaps he was just dreaming that he was in bed and heard that in a dream. I asked my mom about this, but she says my dad never has (or maybe he just can’t remember) his dreams. I’m spooked. We’re in a brand new, huge house, built last year, so there were no previous owners. What do you think, /x/? What caused this?

Visual and auditory hallucinations aren't uncommon in sleep deprivation if he's been having trouble sleeping for a while. Or he could have been experiencing a kind of sleep paralysis. Also, just about everyone experiences a hallucination of some sort at some point in their life with no known cause or further psychosis. There's really no explanation for that but it does happen so unless your electrical outlets start bleeding I'd chalk it up to a weird experience.

What are common stereotypes you see that ruin any interest?
For me it would be any type of obvious code not hidden in any way.
Examples: Binary, Base64, Hex, etc.
It's fine to have these, but I personally see them just shoved in to make it seem more edgy instead of having to search for clues.

I'm being haunted.
I can't recall when it started, i've lost track of time. Days...weeks...I don't know, I can't sleep anymore and i'm going insane. She just keeps haunting me. She won't go to sleep.
Every night at 10:00 PM it doesn't matter if i'm tired or not, I have to open the door. I have to open it for her. She'll start knocking...harder and harder every second I don't open the door. As soon as I open it she's not in sight...not yet. I have to turn on my lights...if I don't she starts running and banging in the back of the house. Her feet sound wet with every step.
After I open the door and turn out the lights I get into my bed and I turn and face my wall, I do not look...she hates that. After a few seconds of getting comfortable I hear her footsteps creeping closer from the back of the house. A loud wet thud with each step getting louder and louder as she approaches my bedroom door. I'm scared I'm shaking. Is this really happening? I turn over and look in my doorway. Her face covered by her dark black hair, skin a bluish pigment, black blotches all over, blood streaks run down. She's clothless. If I stare for too long she stops and slowly starts moaning loudly and turns her head in my direction.It gets louder and LOUDER until I look away. Finally I do.
I turn back over and hear the loud wet steps get closer and closer to my bed...suddenly they stop. Dead silence fills the room.
Suddenly my bed creaks and presses in as if a lot of weight is being put on it from the other side. Someon is laying next to me. The coldness of her skin freezes me. The bed becomes wet and chills to my spine. I lay there frightened. That's when she starts to groan and moan quietly at first and louder if I do not turn over and wrap my arm around her. She stops and lays motionless when this happens.
If I remove my arm from her, the groans becomes louder and more raspy. She also slowly starts turning her head back in my direction. I dont know what will happen if I let her continue.

OP, I don't practice shamanism but I did once do a vision quest. Yes, I did journey and see something, an image, and meet beings, although the interaction was minimal. It was a message about what I needed to do to maintain health and clarity and growth.
But as previous anon said, there are other more modern routes to journeying. I don't see myself sitting with a drum or a rattle trying to get off. But there are practice groups and trainings available in traditional methods if that appeals to you.
