I use #Mangamania. It doesn't have every series and some series aren't finished. Some don't update regularly. It's also not on the play store, you just download it from their website.

No vpn can stop the frequent international packet loss, but its ok in most cases

You can also go to the trouble of signing up to a VPS with a direct connection to China (i.e. Oneasiahost) but I found it make no difference to the packet loss

I thought this would be easy but after having spent about an hour on it, I am thoroughly stumped.
Here's what I found:

i've never played WoW, but it's not a fantastic looking game. imo it should run fine, -maybe- not at maxed out settings but it'll run.

At reduced settings it will be fine. Dont expect great performance with a lot of shit on the screen.

You should be able to run WoW at at least default settings, because that meets the recommended requirements

Alan Wake for Xbox360 an PC. Beyond: Two Souls for PS3.

I believe both were ported to current gen consoles.

If you do decide to pick up Beyond, I highly suggest playing it with a friend over, its got great offline co op.

Thanks for the suggestions. I don't have a PS3/4 so I can't get Beyond (that said, I'm still open to recommendations on any system in case I do get one someday), but I'll give Alan Wake a shot. I don't know how similar they are but I did love Max Payne too.

Hokuto no Ken: Raoh Gaiden Ten no Haoh is an anime about a major antagonist in Hokuto no Ken, and how he builds his realm in a post-apocalyptic world.

Hataraku Maou-sama! is a comedy about an 'evil' overworld from a fantasy world being thrust into the modern world, and how he deals with it. It turns out he's not really that evil. I've only seen the anime.

The manga Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - "Kono Watashi no Mono Tonare, Yuusha yo" "Kotowaru!" has a lot of chapters from the perspective of an 'evil' overlord who is, again, not really that evil. It's very detailed in terms of economics and politics, and is usually light hearted with appropriately dramatic moments. I haven't seen the anime or read the other manga adaptation.

The manga Helk is primarily from the perspective of 'demons' as they fight against humans, and a few of the protagonists are 'evil' overlords. Yet again, they turn out to be not that evil after all. It's a comedy that becomes more dramatic as the story progresses.

I have heard about Hataraku Maou-sama and Maoyuu Maou Yuusha before, but Helck and Raoh Gaiden are completely new to me.
Helck especially seems like exactly what I've been looking for.

If anyone else got an idea, don't hesitate, even if it is niche.
