I can tell you some cheats for pokemon emerald. You can go to the battle tower and use a simple save + soft reset trick to duplicate pokemon. This means you can also duplicate items.

Still had mine saved from a while ago.
The team uses and abuses status effects and entry hazards. Ideal battle would be in the 4-6 badge range. Preferably 4. The idea is to lead with Ariados to set up sticky web and toxic spikes. Switch out to Salazzle to spam venoshock or use it's ability to badly poison any pokemon that bypasses PSN from toxic spikes. Then spam Venoshock with either Toxapex or Salazzle (again). Golbat/crobat is there to be an added pain in the ass. Toxic if need be, Confuse Ray, Super Fang, Roost.
Battle would take place in a room with big LED screens that project trippy imagery.
I put Toxic as the TM I give out but maybe it should be Venoshock instead.

It is cool. How do we make it OU by changing one small thing about it? What if its ability didn't require items, and you could choose which type you wanna be each turn via a drop-down menu? Not any more broken than Protean.

That would be significantly better than Protean for the simple fact that it would have literally every type of STAB coverage with just a single moveslot. But our boy deserves nothing less than that.
SD sets would be nuts because you could afford to run any combo of Parting Shot, Explosion, Sub, Toxic, etc while still having perfect coverage. And Scarf sets would be everywhere.

Of all the many problems SM had for me, I had none with encounter rates. Only some old Pokemon were Johto level retarded, and I ain't using them outside of their regions of origin. And I never found anything too omnipresent.
I guess Mareanie being SOS only was silly.

>Pokemon no longer need to holdZ-Crystals to use Z-Moves. Instead, you just need the respective Z-Crystal in your bag. However, you are still only permitted to use one Z-Move per battle. Consider it akin to Mega Evolving Rayquaza.
>Moves that inflict a status condition as their only effect will inflict "Z-versions" of those effects.
>Many players who relied on such strategies may realize that many status conditions have had their effects reduced over past years. This was in preparation for Z-status moves.
>Z-Spore, Z-Hypnosis, and the like inflict Z-sleep. A pokemon inflicted with Z-Sleep will remain asleep for 2-4 turns. Their sleep counter is reset when withdrawn.
>Pokemon with abilities that suppress Sleep, like Vital Spirit can be inflicted with Z-Sleep but will wake sooner.
>Moves like Stun Spore and Thunder Wave will inflict Z-Paralysis. Z-Paralysis reduces the victim's speed by 75% and have a 33% chance of losing their turn.

Probably not, but we can dream. I know that the upcoming switch title isn't going to be an Orre/Shadow Pokemon game, but I'd like to think that one is still possible somewhere down the line.
