I see so many people love eevee and it's evolutions but I honestly don't get the appeal. They're not terrible, joltion was pretty helpful to me in FR, but I see these guys get close to the attention of pikachu or charizard.

It's the Jhoto/Kanto you've been waiting for. Two new regions to explore, and all of it is main quest. The story refuses to stop until you've beaten the final trainer and become the ultimate champion. You're hooked from the get go, and you embark on a journey to take on not just 8 gyms, but 16. Your explored every nook and cranny, found side routes, alternate ways to continue, and after the final challenge, it's the end. The story is over, and there is nothing more. No after game content. No battle maison, frontier, not even more high leveled trainers. You're the champion and that's it. After all the hard work, after falling in love with the beautiful game, it just abruptly halts because you became the champ. The end.
>What comes after counts
You can tell right from the start that you're only going to play this because it's a Pokemon game. It's boring, lack luster, and all together just bland. The gyms are uninspired, all routes are straightforward, and it's really not much of a challenge. It's when you beat the elite four that things really pick up. Battle Maison, Battle Frontier, trainers with competent teams are scattered around post game places with levels anywhere from 60 to 90. You can catch every Pokémon, play games, and just fuck around for hours. But there's no point to it. You've already beaten the main story, there's no real reason to continue. You play because you can have fun, not because there's some sort of purpose to it. You're doing things without accomplishing anything. You can beat every trainer, every arena the Battle Frontier has to offer, but there's no real reward to it.
So, what would you play? Option 1 or 2? Have a great and fulfilling story but nothing more, or a bland main game with an eventful post game?

Having the long ass wait between mainline games after the spectacular failure that was the OR/AS postgame makes me want to say the second option. I love the pokemon games, I'll play them anyways. Give me some random shit to do after the main adventure is done.
If Platinum had a larger selection of pre-national dex pokemon it would've been perfect. It's still my favorite game, looking back on things.

ITT: En este hilo, algo de información de Sol/Luna(Y no lo traduzco al Inglés, por que el traductor de Google es porquería pura)
Primero y principal, en estas últimas 5 semanas estuve trabajando en el equipo de Traducción para España, obviamente para evitar "Filtraciones" el director nos muestra apenas imágenes de algún nuevo Pokemon y nos dan los diálogos a traducir; no hay mucho que contar pero dejó algunos datos:
>Los Pokémon fósiles de Alola son los siguientes: Un Cangrejo Geograpsus Severnsi llamado Greonaa (De GEOgrapsus, y Moana que es Océano en Hawaiano) de tipo Roca/Agua, y del otro no tengo conocimientos (No tuve suerte de su traducción ni nada)
>Las evoluciones finales de los Iniciales "filtrados" por los chinos son "verdaderofalso", realmente son versiones beta del mismo; la evolucion final de Rowlet casi no varía (exceptuando que pierde la capucha que tiene, y las alas que cambian algún detalle), la evolución de Litten en la versión final varía en que sus manos tienen 4 dedos en vez de 5, su cinturón esta más estabilizado, la cola está más rizada, y su ataque característico es doble tipo: Lucha/Siniestro; y la evolución de Popplio no aprecie ninguna diferencia en si.
