As someone that grew up playing Red, the pandering needs to stop, there are so many other amazing Pokemon across gens that need love.

That being said, I'm glad Kanto-mons are getting Alola variants, since so many, and I mean SO MANY, Kanto Pokemon are so dreadfully boring and uninspired. Would still love to see interesting variants for other mons, like Galvantula and Volcarona.
