I don't get it, it doesn't show up until after you've seen it once. And because of this, since you haven't seen the pokemon before, it will NEVER show up in Totem fights or most Kahuna fights. It doesn't change anything anyways, they bring up "HAVING TO CALCULATE THE DAMAGE", but using a super effective attack doesn't mean it's better, you still have to know the base power of all your attacks along with your attack/sp.atk and opponent's defense/sp.def for a real answer.

I haven't done postgame, but as far as I can tell no. They're the Pokemon of a nightmarish alternate dimension. Though humans can fuse with them, apparently, but I think this was just anime effect and not deep lore.

That was easily the most fun I've ever had in a pokemon game. I thoroughly enjoyed the ever living shit out of it, and I still have even more post-game to play and a fuck load of new team ideas thanks to the Tapu's and UB's in particular.
t. somebody who has played from all the way back when Pokemon first even became a thing.
I will gladly play through the game again, and I look forward to doing so when my legit copy comes.
