Anyone else feel this way? They're spreadsheet grinding simulators with anime-esque plots and characters. Take Final Fantasy for example, just because it's turned based does not mean it's an rpg, the series plays out more like a linear adventure game. I'm not trying to say that they aren't good games btw, there's just no japanese equivalent to kotor or fallout
