I played the betas, decided the game was shit in a lot of ways and I was going to wait until they fixed it so I haven't bought it yet

The season 2 stream made it look somewhat improved, but I still have a couple questions about it.
In the duels I saw people weren't all that defensive, is that representative of the real game on not-lan connections/with players that haven't been instructed to keep things interesting for the viewers? It still seemed like the more defensive player generally won, particularly the warden that just parried and zoned to victory.

Also the mentioned stability improvements. Is there any hope of them actually following through? Has the game improved at all since beta/launch stability-wise? Judging by the memes I'd say no, but that's not really a clear assessment.

Are they going to fix it or should I give up and pin all my hopes on Absolver so I can get disappointed again?

Centurion looks cool as fuck though. One thing this game nails is character design, at least.
