I prefer the first game. The scenarios felt better-designed (for the most part, there are exceptions to both), and I felt like RCT2 had way too many filler attractions that were largely just reskins and such that would've been filed as an alternate graphic in RCT1. I guess the latter isn't necessarily a big deal but it made my autism flare up as a kid wading through the unnecessarily long ride list in the scenario editor.

I just wish RCT1 had RCT2's ability to manipulate the height of shit before placing it. That shit is critical to making a truly comfy park.

In this thread we list things Dark Souls 2 did that were far better than Dark Souls 3. I'll start:

Nice list, except those are not the things that make a Souls game good. Souls games live and die for their atmosphere, exploration elements, level design and boss design.

Sure PvP wise DS2 has some nice things, but actual fans of the series don't play souls for the PvP which should be nothing more than an environment hazard so to speak.

It was some shitty multiplayer service that was used by a bunch of games back in the day until companies decided to just use Steamplay or whatever shitty in-house MP client they had (Uplay, Rockstar Social Club, Battlenet, etc.). Gamespy was shut down a few years ago, so now if you want to play MP or co-op on any game that used it, you'll have to use a LAN client like Hamachi.

So how does it compare to EVE? That seems like the natural current one, and that is in no way to say EVE is the pinnacle but it does seem like a decent basic line with SWG very, very long dead. Is this thing single universe? What's the business model? Are they serious about "sandbox" like ccp decided to be or are they just memeing it and will dump it if anyone does something "too disruptive"? Why not link to their site rather then fucking steam?

I remember watching gameplay of this years ago, it looked like a 1:1 copy of SWG, even the menus and UI were the same.
