I like the way Yahtzee shits on conventional reviews, but I will never understand why he so consistently fails to understand the actual strengths or flaws of Nintendo games.
I find the original MM to be severely flawed. I also don't, for instance, like Brawl, but in his review of the game, his criticize of it completely contradicts itself, hating it because it's apparently both a mindless button-masher, yet also hating the fact that it's possible to get good at it and destroy weaker players.
The guy is usually good at pointing out why he thinks a game is bad and also what possible redeeming qualities it might have, I'd actually love it if he were to bash the games for the problems they do have, but he just can't seem to do this for Nintendo games.

Honest question, never played XIII, played the old ones on nes, and snes up until 3 (6 in jap), hell, even mystiq quest, but I disliked VII, VIII, IX, finished X and sorta hated it too.
