Every day, gentlemen. Every day that brings us closer to November. Every day that man remains free is one more failure.

The channel evolved, it's not about cinema sins anymore it's about funny nitpicking, he couldn't keep making the same video, movies have the same 'sins'.
it's still shit but your reasons for disliking the channel I think are off

>Here's the craziest thing about life. This is the thing that nobody really considers: You know as much about what life is all about as anybody who's ever lived, ever. That's the craziest thing about us. We're all just kinda wandering through this, going, "You know what you're doing?" "Yes" "Oh, I do, too. I know what I'm doing." "Okay. Good, then." But really no one has a fucking clue.

He killed about four men. Even though they were running a child prostitution ring, he still killed them, and killing and vigilantism are illegal. So, why wasn't he arrested?
The ending was all a dream as he lay their dying.

Does anyone else think that this super asthetic murder was the begining of Earth's movie? That our whole reality is just a movie for another universe and that every time shit gets super asthetic it's because it's another "scene" in the movie?

Conflict is much less visually appealing now with firearms. In an age without close combat, any death is just going to look the same. Either an explosion or a bullet. No fights. Only point and press a button. Skillful, gracious, thoughtful, maybe. But never as good-looking as close combat.

Or maybe its just a good photo.
What do you guys think of Noe's work? Clearly he's one of the more polarizing directors in recent times (if not in the history of cinema).
He does a lot of really fucking cool stuff in his movies. The cinematography and filming is generally 100% on point and gorgeous. The candid covering of explicit subjects is done extremely well. Combined with all the other small things he does (low frequency sound throughout Irreversible, etc etc) make his films undoubtedly interesting and worthy of study in themselves, barring everything else.
But that is where I feel he falls short often. Past all the beautiful shots, interesting filming, and brutal coverage of "taboo" (to the mainstream film industry) stuff, his films kinda just have me waiting for the next "wow" moment. Irreversible sputtered out after the rape scene, Enter the Void after the first 30 minutes, and Love and I Stand Alone just felt meandering at times throughout. I Stand Alone the most guided of them but also the least interesting to watch in my opinion.
I don't think I'd place any of his films up there among what I consider to be some of "the best" films I've seen, and yet they're so interesting past even a couple viewings.
What do you guys think?
Benis in assdole :DDD
Since Kiarostami's death he's probably the best active and relevant director. He's all we got.
