>SO, CAN YOU FELLOW WEAKLINGS TELL ME ABOUT THE LOCATION OF THE AUTOBOT BASE? I'M INTERESTED IN IT FOR PURELY STRATEGICAL MATTERS!
>WAIT, MY VOICE? "DRY AND CRACKING"? OH, IT'S THE, UM.... THE ENERGON, YES! I HAD A LITTLE TOO MUCH OF IT LAST NIGHT ON IACON, LIKE US AUTOBOTS USUALLY DO!
>OF COURSE I'M CLIFFJUMPER, YOU PATHETIC - HUH? W-WAIT, CLIFFJUMPER IS THE RED ONE?!
How the fuck did this get approved?
>in random dollar store
>see little Optimus on shelves
>figure why not, it's only 5 bux
>it's not a KO either
>open it up
>legs specifically prevented from moving due to blocks on the ball joints
>arms super loose
>legs fall off if you try to move them anyway
>literally worse in every way than a titan master and it's vehicle/gun, which is also priced at $5
Wow. All they had to do was just make the legs able to move forward and it would've been a nice little cheapo Optimus. Why would they do this? Also the tolerances are so laughable not even a KO would be this bad, I think.
...I still like it for some reason. As shitty as it was. Waste of $5. Yet I still like it. Fuck. I even carved the blockages off the ball joints on the hips and it still barely moves forward or back with the legs thanks to the fucked hip design they gave this thing.
>>6478703
That head scares me, I'm gonna just swap it out.
>>6478703
I mean, that's still substantially better than some other Headmasters. Keep in mind pic related isn't a prototype or a KO, it actually is Hot Rod.
>>6478703
I think it's a good idea but the exosuit helmet detail doesn't really convey well on a head that small.
Does anyone have a comparison with mpm-03, and the wave 3 deluxe bee?
>>6478711
This, they should have just made it roundy and obfuscated without any bizarre indiscernible sculpt inside that makes it look like a person being chocked to death on a grocery shopping bag. That's just terrible design.
>>6478710
That Hot Rod isn't by the same guys though.
>>6478706
Little truck mode is fine though.
Someone should try to reissue the old transformers comics.
I've been reading them and they helped me realize why the old geewun designs are better than any modern version; they are more versatile in that they can look goofy and emote but at the same time can turn back and become believable as fighters from the industrial aspect of the designs.
I'm starting to want some of the MPs, but Takasa Tony because the line seems to be draining the engineering out of mainline and Generations, despite always been more of a movieshit guy due to the golden age of mainline releases that was ROTF and HFTD.
I wish there were more voyager KOs of the line, I have a somewhat strict rule for faction leaders of not being bigger than a voyager and getting any of them could push me into the MUH DICK HUGE tendencies of 3Ps. I don't have the space or the will for it.
>>6478686
Why doesn't Hasbro just make these into actual soap bottles with arms?
>>6478729
They have. Go to Amazon my friend. Also, you should grab some of the IDW comics too. They're honestly pretty good.
>>6478731
If any of the wiki entries on IDW are even half-way honest about their content I doubt I'll enjoy them at all.
>>6478737
Yes? It's still a weird comparison.
Anyway, I've heard speculations that Takara got a deal on clear plastic and just didn't know what to do with it all.
>>6478738
Most wikis are camped by fans, they are a a bit worse than what the wiki describes.
Just found the G1 frame used as reference to design TR Arcee.
Posting my TFNation haul. Took it a little easy this year.
Out of the way, Hasbro fucking shits.
>>6478773
Huh, I thought there was a consensus of sorts on how Takara didn't win this one.
so what is this and where can I get it?
I thought voyager megs had the mouth
>>6478783
Either the rumored updated ko or a custom, I'd say custom for the Con badge.
>>6478775
>>6478777
I don't get the hate. Cartoon head, comic head. Two chest configurations to represent each version. If you paint one side of the chest panels blue, it pulls off the homage even better.
>>6478800
>>Cartoon head, comic head
Both looking fucking terrible.
>>Two chest configurations to represent each version
Both looking blander than the original.
More isn't better, anon.
>>6478703
That head is smaller than a grain of rice. It really won't matter in hand.
>>6478800
>Cartoon head
Far from it, thats clearly just a female head because of the female master and his chest doors look like crap closed, they're obviously are meant to be only in open position, also wasted oportunity with the engines not screwing them to the masters avoiding the headmaster gimmick, we have Prime masters on tha way this could work as the new gimmick preview.
>>6478804
The heads are fine.
>>6478807
The female Headmaster is actually the comic head, and the closed chest doors actually have sculpted details that match the comic version.
And people disappointed themselves expecting Powermasters. Their star of Masterforce, Ginrai didn't get one, no way in hell Overlord would. Even if the engines are removable, it's doubtful they will make PotP engines that actually look like Mega and Giga.
>>6478807
Meant to say "comic head".
WHO ELSE STANDS WITH PIC RELATED IN THE TOPPEST TIER OF TF'S
>>6478827
>>6478773
>Darker blue pops less and shows details worse
>Worse color separation without the gray and black on the elbows and waist
>Ugly looking dummy godmasters killing the possibility of customizing your own proper ones
>Worse looking chest flaps to hide said dummy godmasters
>Better helmet but ugly faces to counteract that one good point.
>Priced the same as Ginrai but with way less effort put in
Nah brah.
>>6478773
What a girly face. I'm supposed to be afraid of you?
Has anyone here ever ordered from tf-toy.com?
Jeez.. Second time that a TR figure I bought have a nasty manufacturing error.
This time it's TR Windblade. Magnificent figure until I was almost done transforming her. Well, I couldn't finish transforming her because her left leg just wouldn't bend.
>>6478853
As you can see, something is definitely misassembled here.
>>6478854
Repairing her was... a bitch. You have two screws to remove. One at the hip, one at the feet. So far, so good... until you realise that both halves of the leg are GLUED together in the middle! I had to force it open. I managed to break off just the glue and the pegs were safe.
>>6478856
Yup.
>>6478858
So I reassembled the leg in the correct position and screwed and glued everything back on. Then I noticed the REAL problem. My Windblade have two left thighs.
>>6478861
It now work perfectly fine, but the bot mode will have the "inner hollows" of a leg on the outside
The worst thing is that Hasbro now DEMAND that we send the figure back for replacement. And of course, they wont have a Windblade so they'll give me something random.
As for Returning it to the Toys R Us, I fear to have another misassembled Windblade and have to do the repairs all over again.
Meh, I guess I'm stuck with it. Could be worse, but come the fuck on, Hasbro...
>>6478861
My Black Shadow has a misassembled shoulder. I tried taking him apart but couldn't get him apart. I hope Chang has been replaced by Sing, who is much more focused on his job.
>>6478775
>better head
>actually comes with two TMs
>TMs are actually painted
>can look closer to IDW Overlord than Hasbro's
uh, no. Takara's Overlord is pretty obviously better.
>>6478861
Is it possible to see if the legs are misassembled in the packaging?
Just dropping by to brag about the display I finally completed.
Having the TR figures versus their G1 originals is so satisfying!
Still, I'll stop there because 140$CAN for every G1 Headmasters kinda poke a hole in my budget.
>>6478853
>buying any imaginable iteration of windblade
Serves you right.
>>6478866
Unfortunately, there is no way to tell through the packaging.
>>6478862
You got CHANG'D, had the same issue with rewind buying from a fb group.
If you asked for replacement why did you tried to fix it?
>>6478875
>there is no way to tell through the packaging
If you are blind, the legs have different molding, just check both have the smoth surface on the front and the hollow bits in the inner sides.
>>6478878
I thought it was just a miss assembly. But it was the part that was wrong all along.
My TR Triggerhappy had two right "sled guns" making impossible to combine them. So I contacted Hasbro for a replacement. The process was lengthy and it too ages for the replacement to arrive... in the form of TR Twinferno. Still, I didn't had to send Triggerhappy back so eh, free figure!
I thought I could keep my Windblade and get a random. However, I now must send Windblade back because Hasbro's policies have changed. So, I rather keep my imperfect but working TR Windblade.
By the Way, call me a noob but is "Getting CHANG'D" The new slang word for one get screwed by QC? Where this come from?
>>6478886
Yes, I think you CAN tell from the front.
>>6478766
good lord imagine hasbro using springer's face for reference to design springer in the future
>>6478888
I think it was because I said Chang shouldn't be paid for misassembling Windblade.
>>6478899
>>6478902
D'ohohoho!
I think this is maybe the birth of a new TF memastic lingo. Let's spread this around!
>>6478893
Why, are you telling me this is not a face of beauty? Are you saying a person must abide to the cruel aesthetic standards of society to merely fit in?! That's REPULSIVE, anon! Shame on you!
>>6478827
>>6478827
The only Galvatron worthy of facing galaxy OP, legit, anyway. The colors on this are so beautiful they can only truly be seen in hand.
>>6478827
The original powered up commander.
MP Cheetor is a lot more fun when you have all his joints loosened so it doesn't feel like he's breaking when you articulate him. I still can't get this fucking neck hinge loosened at all though, I'm really sick of having his head pop off the ball joint if you try to make him look up.
Takara seriously needs to work on their tolerances/clearances. Most of their tight joints lately are only tight because they don't test anything with paint on it.
>>6478827

>in the wilds of the serengeti, a herd of Optimi escort their young on the first hunt of the spring

>HTS has Cosmos, and Blitzwing
>They don't have Seaspray, or Octane
How? Woudn't having one mean they should have the other?
>>6478984
>>6478990
>distracted by it's feast of energon, the Groove doesn't sense the young Optimi's approach, the young semi charging in for the kill, while the elder watches on
>>6478993

>>6478968
>Best Prime
But that's not the Classics Voyager.
>>6478994
>delighted by it's kill, the young Optimi begins to feast, while the rest of the herd approaches
I have some bucks to spend on a Decepticon. Should I got for TR Soundwave or TR Astrotrain? I'm leaning heavily towards Astrotrain but the base mode for Soundwave looks dank as well
>>6478988
Same but for Rippersnapper and Legends Blitzwing
>>6478773
His chest panels look fucking awful and the wheel sticks out.
>>6479006
TR Soundwave and the 3 "cassettes" if you make a sacrifice. Astrotrain seems not worth buying with that 11 step transformation
>>6479006
Both are very good figures. It just depend on what character you like the best.
But if you already have a "classic" Soundwave that is SUPERIOR like the G1 or the MP, you may want to skip it because he'll bring nothing new.
Astrotrain however, is unique enough to be a sure purchase no matter what other Astrotrains you may already have.
>>6479000
Nope, according to TFW, they don't have them up yet.
>>6478846
Where should I begin with the IDW comics?
No way I'm wasting non-cookie disk space on them but I'm sure I can still read them online.
>>6478827
I have 4 anon. Wish we would get a re-release in a new deco.
>>6479029
Infiltration
>>6479029
It's always reccomended to read in publishing order, starting with Infiltration. Or you could go with IDWs reccomended reading order (which doesn't make sense sometimes)and start with Megatron Origin. Or you could start off with the 2013 stuff (MTMTE and RID), and just read a synopsis ofthe other stuff on the tfwiki
>>6479038
>>6479029
/co/ has a recommended reading order list. The IDW Collection volumes themselves are also basically in the same order as the /co/ list.
>>6478827

>>6479006

>>6479002
>unfortunately, life is harsh upon the plains for the Optimi, and a heavily armored Impersonatus challenges the herd for their fresh kill
>sense danger, the elders swerve in to protect the young
>>6478773
Takara can't win if I don't even want it.
>>6479051
KEK, this is great despite the fact that you're using the shittiest possible CHUG Prime for the Voyager. Keep on going, I hope to see an entire herd of Primes from all series later down the road.
>>6479077
Thats actually the only CHUG Prime I own. Well, unless you count my little 3P IF figure there in the last pic, and I guess that tiny one I just bought. I like the CW guy though. He's got very super-hero-ey proportions, and his truck mode's fine. Fucking awful as a combiner body though, no question about that.
>>6479048
Wow, he really does look awesome. Why do people even care about Overlord when this fly guy exists?
>>6479107
Overlord is the antagonist in the greatest Transformers story of all time. All the fiction Black Shadow has is an episode of victory and jobbing offscreen to the DJD, who later jobbed to bad writing. So the real question is, when is Blue Bacchus getting a figure?
>Your top 3 GOAT Deluxe figs
Let's find out.
>>6479123
>the DJD, who later jobbed to bad writing
I will forever be buttmad about this. Thanks Roberts, great job there.
>>6479150
Assuming you can't count a mold more than once.
>Topspin
Better transformation than even Triggerhappy, and bulky as fuck. Basically perfect.
>Arcee
First actual figure she has ever gotten, and yet it's still better than any that have come since.
>Hardhead
Just a good and satisfying all around figure.
>>6478703
Because someone who makes these decisions felt it was acceptable.
That should be fairly obvious.
>>6478730
Why don't you just ignore them instead of bitching about them?
>>6479195
2nd on Hardhead. Love Quake.
>>6479001
Correct, he said best Prime, not shitty kibbletastic Prime
>>6479185
To be fair, it was later retconned that the DJD had to be juiced up on hyper-energon 'roids to do the kind of damage they did.
Seeing Megatron wipe them all out was pretty satisfying though it was also right around this point I dropped the comic.
>>6478862
>As for Returning it to the Toys R Us, I fear to have another misassembled Windblade and have to do the repairs all over again.
You... DO have eyes, right? Maybe look the figures over before buying? It's not exactly rocket science, and you ought to have some idea how the WRONG way looks.
Something I never got.
Why is Jazz, whenever a chance arises, portrayed as being black?
>>6478914
You know, when you try to be funny, it helps to actually be good at it.
You aren't.
>>6479219
>>6479216
>To be fair, it was later retconned that the DJD had to be juiced up on hyper-energon 'roids to do the kind of damage they did.
Ah that is even more stupid. Tarn was already established as having going through the same process as Overlord/Skyshadow/Sixshot as well as being outlier. At this point piling on more explanations for him being so effective is just dumb.
>>6479217
Now I do know what to look for. I'll go tomorrow.
>>6479219
Why shouldn't he be?
Scatman Crothers had an awesome voice
>>6479227
Godspeed, man.
>>6479216
>To be fair, it was later retconned that the DJD had to be juiced up on hyper-energon 'roids to do the kind of damage they did.
Prowl says Tarn alone was as strong as any Phase Sixer and even more powerful than Fort Max. Roberts adding in that info is retarded.
>Seeing Megatron wipe them all out was pretty satisfying though
No it was the most unsatisfying thing he's ever written. He built the DJD up since way back in the text story Bullets from Last Stand of the Wreckers. That was YEARS ago. Then four years of mtmte hyping them up only to die like a bunch of pussies in four panels to Megatron magic. I cancelled my subscription after that it was so unbelievably retarded.
Anyone have any pics of the Pretender Bots from POTP?
>reading Regeneration One

>>6479311

I swear fucking Hasbro ships this shit to the US via 1 chinese slave paid to paddle them over on his back.

>>6479329
Optimus is a great toy, though.
>>6479398
>there's a road along the Siberia and the Arctic full of dead chinese slaves and free Hasbro figures
You know what to do.
Now that we're getting Pretenders as primemaster shells it makes me want to get that boxset Metalhawk to go with the shell they're releasing. It also makes me regret we didn't get the pretenders guys as headmasters instead of the targetmaster.
>>6478686

And less plastic in it than a Legends figure.
>>6479438
Eh, the whole idea of pretenders was that you could have 2 figures for the price of 1, there was no interaction with the shells when the bot was outside, anyway nows a good time to dust off Gen Skullgrin.

>>6479543
that trypticon thing was a hoax, you know that right? it was the reissue trypticon not the tr trypticon
Considering grabbing Hot Rod and/or Windblade from TRU the next time I see them
Got some rain checks and discounts anyway
But if I could grab only one, which should I get? Not planning to get POTP Rodimus because it doesn't seem too great for the price point
There's discounts and buy-2-get-1 deals this month, but there's literally nothing on the shelves
>>6479616
Even if it was the reissue Trypticon you'd have enough Trypticons to build a 4-room shed for a homeless family of 5, so fuck you.
>>6479619
HotRod's not a bad representation of him, it's just that Takara's coming up with a better version.
As for Windblade, stare at it for 2 minutes and see if you like it. I personally can't unsee the blockhead, twig arms and Scourge's hairy man-thighs.
>>6478773
I read that in Chloe's voice.
>tfw
>>6478805
True, but unfortunately it's still clear plastic.
You'll have to open it up and replace the head if you don't want it to break from headswaps.
>>6479311
So what are the repacks?
>>6479622
I doubt I'd have the dozens of dollars for Takara Hot Rod, even less so with respect to the aftermarket
His arms don't seem too terrible whereas the non-prominent spoiler is slightly disappointing
The blockhead is sort of compensated by her pretty face, although the varying proportions between her arms and thighs are a bit concerning
Fuck, I'll have to get both don't I
Also does anyone know how sales/returns work at TRU? If they have coupons for 2-for-1 deal for purchases, and I get like two Hot Rods - or two Getaways or whatever from the miserable selection they have, can I bring the receipt and swap one for a Windblade?
>>6479620
I find it hard to believe an ollie's in tampa, fl even got 22 trypticons in

I have the EZ Collection Megatron and it's fucking perfect.
Added the 2 side take off stripes with the left over paint.
And yes don't paint soft plastic parts that are used mostly on joints. The paint does not stick strong enough to the material and it will rub off

>>6479707
You wouldn't happen to have TR trypticon would you? I'd be curious so see how they look beside him.
Got this bitch some days ago. She was brand new. However, some screws needed to be tightened and some ball joints need the Pledge treatment.
Is the floppiness common for the Classic Mirage mold or did I got CHANG'd?
Still a very nice and glorious figure despite the floppiness.
>>6479707
Yeah, I tried stripping them of paint but they really slathered it on thick.
So which figure is the best one in the TLK toy line?
I say Voyager Megatron.
>>6479718
I didn't buy much. But both voyager Optimus and Megatron are clear winners for me.
>>6479711
That's probably a KO.
>>6479615
>>No stickers
The stickers are not the problem.
The problem with Broadside is the fact out of the 3 deck covered by stickers, 2 of the them have the landing deck painted.
If they want to save money they shouldn't paint the landing deck at all so when people remove the sticker they would have a perfectly plastic dark deck. But no, we ended up with a half painted deck.
It is like they doing thing out of spite or something.
>>6479727
Impossible.
>>6479705
Man, that repaint could have actually been feasible back in 2008 if Hasbro just bothered with producing a few combiner parts to tie them all together. A pity it didn't happen.
Is the TLK Voyager Megatron a good figure?
>>6479438
Me too though I'm praying the Metalhawk Titanmaster can fit in his new Pretender shell.
>>6479756

>>6479781
Nah the fpj isn't that great either.
>>6479756
Yes! Why do you think people are buying it and repurposing it for various characters in the first place? Because they like bayformers?
>>6479781
that thing partsform and even then transforms into nothing, the oficial has 2 decent modes and a shity plane that can be saved by the fanmode, the 3P nust has an ox plane mode.
>>6479786
No it just has better alt modes (as opposed to the flying brick), no forced gimmick, updated weapons of the original, two bot modes depending on your preferences and actually looks imposing. It's helluva better update than a botched remolded Headmaster Alpha Trion mold with a problematic third mode.
>>6479789
>no forced gimmick
>the 'forced' implies the partsforming element of the Titan Masters
>when the 3P you mentioned has partsforming anyway

Hoi doi, sorry bro, budget ran out.
Alright, I finally finished Regeneration One. Time for a mini-review.
The art is shit. REALLY shit. I'm pretty sure Wildman and Guido aren't usually this bad I'm assigning the blame to the inkers and colorists. As there are four arcs so I'll rate them individually.
>Loose Ends
Top-tier stuff here. If you hate this you're just contrarian. 9/10
>Natural Selection
Feels like filler. You could repurpose the Hasbro mold Autobot HMs as Scorpy's clones/corrupted 'bots. 6/10
>Destiny
Balls-to-the-wall excitement starring Bludgeon. Ultra Magnus gets to be a real badass here, which is nice. Reading flow is a bit fucky though because of issue #0. I want a Blitz Engine toy. 8/10
>The War to End All Wars
I like G2. I like Jhiaxus in G2. I don't like Jhiaxus here, he's shit and he jobs hard. He's just here to pad things out until we get to the REAL bad guy, the Dark Matrix. The ending is rushed and nonsensical and the multiversal fuckery doesn't help. UM continues being badass. And Botanica cameos at the end for some reason. 4/10

RO was just shit. I'm assuming you read the marvel run back in the day and it had nostalgia value for you.
So, why was this mold universally hated again? I'll have to agree the wings are a little intrusive in robot mode but that's literally the only flaw I can find. The overall design is solid, the transformation is simple and yet incredibly effective, and holy fuck, these have to objectively be the single best jet modes in any Transformers figures. The sculpt quality is beyond outrageous and it has all sorts of absurd details from hatches to balljointed thrusters and airbrakes and an openable nosecone and even a pair of motherfucking functional stabilizer flaps.
Even most model kits don't go as far as having this much detail, the amount of effort that was put into this mold is genuinely staggering. The jet mode alone is more than worth it.
>>6479944
Y'know, something tells me that if these had modern incarnations (and they most likely will in just a few years) they will look like plain undetailed blobs for the sake of muh cartoon accuracy.
>>6479944
Because "mug G1 accuracy!"
A legit complaint however.
Personally, I find the MP-03 mold far superior to the crappy MP-11. Simply because MP-11 cost 3 times what MP-03 cost me for half the quality.
>>6479955
Times have changed, anon. The oldest MP-3 I can find is going for ~130 dollars and I've seem some being sold for over 300. MP-11 is the affordable one as of now.
>>6479944

>>6479958

Are the conehead versions worth getting? The fact that they're limited to 2000 pieces each makes me feel like I should urgently buy them while they still last but the cartoon-accurate vehicle modes don't seem to translate as well as the regular models, perhaps because they don't turn into realistic F-15s in the first place. On a sidenote, I do remember feeling the same way about the original MP Seekers and they sure as hell feel like actual kick-ass jets in person mode though.

Sold mine years ago. The one thing that always utterly killed it for me was the hip ratchets. One of the first figures I was aware of having a massive issue with going from legs standing to attention to too-wide A-stance with nothing in between. It gets worse when you see how good the non-ratcheting prototype took poses.

I like em. I just got MP-07 Starscream and Acid Storm. The only gripe is that many of the seekers a fidly. Their chests often move when you use the rachets in the arms. With Starscream they fixed that mostly. Part of his chest sometimes likes to move a little, but he holds together a whole lot better. They should have just added something to clip the chest in place more.

idunno, PCC was one of the nichest niche lines due to its release time, strange place in fiction, and being all failed OC combiners nobody asked for; and the third party planes/tanks were fiddly, expensive, and had those amazing third party scary tolerances that make you think you are going to break something for just picking up the figure.
I don't think they failed from a lack of demand for old timey vehicle modes.

I was initially gonna just set a couple of Barbies on the shoulders for scale-reference, but my friend suggested I have real girls pose with him, and I liked the idea so much I went ahead & did it, it was fun. Even thereafter, so many people thought the girls were photoshopped in there, despite the original toy displayed in the back of it. Not everybody liked the idea, but was generally accepted a lot more than not. Some people got offended by it & maybe thought it was a little sexist, but oh well, can't please everybody!"
>>6479944
>So, why was this mold universally hated again?
Because it's really fucking bad. The jet mode IS nice because that was clearly the main focus, the robot mode on the other hand has wings that like to pop off (not sure if the coneheads have more secure wings), a chest that doesn't stay together in any way, it has almost no useful hip articulation because there's too much kibble in the way and the feet are a literal joke that make posing the robot mode next to impossible
>>6480334
>it has almost no useful hip articulation because there's too much kibble in the way and the feet are a literal joke that make posing the robot mode next to impossible
True, which does suck.
>the robot mode on the other hand has wings that like to pop off (not sure if the coneheads have more secure wings), a chest that doesn't stay together in any way
The only one I have is the Hasbro Skywarp and he doesn't have any of these issues. Maybe you just got a faulty one?
>>6480339
Depends on the version he has, I know the V2 Seekers have cockpits that don't lock well in Robot mode. I'm pretty sure Hasbro Skywarp was a V1.
>>6480339
Wings poping off easily isn't a ubiquitous issue but still a pretty common one. No MP11 mold has a chest that stays together well though.
>>6480339
I can concur with that anon that my Sunstorms wings have a weak connection to the back, and whenever I move either arm up, the whole chest moves up with it.

Practically flawless in both modes, absolutely fantastic design choices that do represent the perfect modernized G1 design, even the accompanying Hound is neat despite being somewhat nonsensical.
>Generations Kup
Still my favorite interpretation of Kup, everything about him just looks badass. The shotgun in particular is a genius primary weapon for a cranky old 'bot.
>TR Triggerhappy
Preaching the choir here, basically an all-around tightly designed figure even while being made under the limitations of modern Hasbro. He just sort of manages to look perfect in all poses and weapon configurations.

The transformation joints in the legs are a little too easy to fold when I'm just trying to pose it given their location, but otherwise it's pretty great.
It even feels solid for its size, and the tampo details on the sides of the legs are a great touch. The head is a fucking nightmare to get off, though. I still don't like the actual Titan Master gimmick.
How difficult would it be to pin a joint? It really annoys me how some headmaster's have unpinned hips, they always end up completely floppy so they're basically unable to post (not that you could pose headmasters much to begin with, but still)
