That really was a great figure, but the fact that the headsculpt never failed to remind me of a Cro-magnon version of one of my older cousins kinda ruined it for me. Could not unsee cousin John talking in a low calm voice about the importance of churchin' an' studyin' and other uniterestin' things.

I... I just couldn't bring myself to make John-Hulk smash anything. Wasn't in his nature. He always wanted to go to Cro-magnon bible study.

It's a pretty good figure if you can divorce it from modern comparisons and just appreciate it for what it is. If it had good fist hands instead of the clumsy articulated fingers, and the ab crunch didn't feel like it was held together with a rubber band, it would rank much higher in the GOAT Hulk scale.

The Disney Store has a sale on the Classic Dolls, $9 each for today only. They are more than likely trying to clear them out to make way for this year's batch of Classic dolls.

http://www.disneystore.com/classic-dolls-for-9/mn/1011101/

Will they finally give Pocahontas and Mulan a genuine makeover? Or will we be stuck with those same dolls forever...

Keeping the accessories in the box of the figure > putting them all together in a craft box
5 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>5770470
I do both. Imports get their boxes saved, domestics get the accessories stored elsewhere en masse. Figuring out which accessories belong to a cheap superhero toy is a lot easier than trying to figure out which of the 9 trillion identical flesh tone hands belong to one specific import import.
>>
>>5770470
I buy way too much shit to keep all the boxes. That shit goes in the trash unless I think I might sell it later on
>>
>>5770512
Shit, shitiously? Shit, that shit's shit, dude.

I've never seen a RAH thread so here it is!

I'm ordering my first RAH soon and I'm wondering how they hold up. Is the cloth material flexable? Is posing fun? What RAH figures do you have? Which ones do you want? Post your collection!

Pic related. Hopefully ordering this guy soon.

Funny coincidence that you make this thread as I'm bidding on my first RAH. Gyro looks nice as fuck, I'd love to buy him and some of the other JoJo characters, especially Rohan. Same goes for MGS3 Big Boss as well as Guts, Guts looks phenomenal. The one I'm looking at buying is from Lupin III, here's to hoping I win the bid

They're okay. More range of articulation than Some HT figures. Quality and accessories are near HT. I don't like RAH being inconsistent with their scale. They are not truely 1:6 scale.

i found these Warhammer WFB and 40k metal miniatures when i dig through some of my family's old stuff, probably belong to one of my uncles.
it took me some time to identify which characters or units they really are.
i found out Gamesworkshop stopped making these many years ago.is there any chance some people still want to pay to collect these?

How much you ll be to do, it is a bit harder to predict.

Dolls are shit.

Army build a giant army of plastic men to fight another giant army of plastic men, instead of stylizing and dressing them up.

Also, doing something like this can be cheaper than getting good quality dolls.

Check big lots. They have 12 inch knock offs but also have gear sets for them as well. There are a few places online that deal with 12 inch joe parts specifically.

I pre-ordered him. Gintoki is top tier. I'll get Toshi as well.

The VAH line is nice, minus a few issues here or there. I have all the One Piece ones except Mihawk, and I'm considering him. Just don't like his character.

Get him, he's worth it. He has the range of motion in the hips that I wish Luffy had. You can almost touch his knee to his sternum.

This look exactly like what playmates would have done to classics shredder, going by bebop and rocksteady. Over designed and looks nothing like classic shredder.

What were you expecting? It's a giant headed chibi cat with matchstick limbs. It stands there, looks cute, and does some rudimentary posing. I really am interested in what you thought you were getting.
>>
>>5767070
Idk, I was expecting a more quality feel to it. It feels so disposable

First impulse purchase: Tomoko nendoroid, I liked the show and all but only got it because I thought the faceplates were hilarious and would be fun to mess around with, turned out I didn't really give a fuck about swapping parts that much. Ended up selling her for more than I got her so it wasn't that bad

Also bought a few accessories like chairs and teacups, and tiny swords because I thought they'd be fun to mess around with too, but the same happened and I ended up not caring.

Basically never buy a figure for its accessories.

What are some good sites for 1/6 scale stuff? Preferably heads and other loose parts.

Primarily eBay. You might luck out with Monkey Depot or Cotswold but they tend to have less stuff.
>>
>>5766700
Yeah, I just placed an order with Monkey Depot. I'm just trying to avoid dealing with stuff from china off of ebay, that's the only thing.
>>
>>5767053
I bought basically everything for my custom 1/6 figures off of eBay from Chinese sellers, never had any problems

Are there any okay looking fake nendoroids out there?

Even originals have their QC issues as of late, don't forget with the growth of their currency and how they forget to reduce the price of their items. I don't see why not.

So I'm looking for toys to buy to play with since I'm a man child. The Halo 3 McFarlane ones are just too shotty on quality it seems so I gave up on those. Looking for dragon ball ones on amazon and all the ones that have joints and shit are $40+ were they always this expensive? I can't believe they could have been that expensive as a kid. Am I just looking in the wrong place?

Try lurking for a few hours, read some threads, use your brain. It's not hard. You'll learn.
>>
>>5765475

The $40+ are probably the Figuarts, which are 6-ish inch figures with a lot of articulation. The older releases came with a lot of accessories, and the newer ones still come with a fair deal of stuff (extra heads, extra hands, extra faces, sometimes other parts like folded arms, effect parts, etc)

The one you posted are more like, 4-inch ones that are usually more like, $10-ish each. If they're asking $40 for those figures, that's a HUGE ripoff, as they originally sold for about $55-$60 for a 6-figure case.
>>
>>5765475
yeah the picture you posted is for a cheap smaller figure. you can even find it at gothtopic for like 12$. But generally any import figures go for 40$+
