The gravitational waves discovery combined with Space-x's successes and the current trends in politics have made it abundantly clear that we're probably not as stagnant of a civilization as one might think. With that said, what technological and scientific progress will we likely see between now and 2030, and what effects will it have on society?

If that's true, why haven't we found a cure for faggotry? Pic related.

How many points do you have on khan academy? I've got 493,970, i probably have cooler badges than you.
0. I already finished high school.

Because of the growing gender gap and lack of compliance to UN resolutions, what is the possibility for those Chinese scientists to eventually successfully genetically mass-producing "perfect" women?(height, hair color, eye color, eye shape, face shape, age degradation, personality, etc.) Pic possibly related.

Kek and check. That's what i first thought too. However, the rich Chinese are hiding their cash in central america. So I am skeptical this will get serious attention and funding while still having a multitude of other issues.

Seriously, for an average state school, how smug should I feel? Or was everyone else just a retard?
>>8076816
This tells me you took a shit intro 101 class for retards and you are a low IQ pleb.
no you should have clearance for at least level 3 smugness.
you don't have to wear a hazmat suit or anything but you do need at least a 100% on a test you winged, so you're good.

If you were smart, you'd study more advanced stuff on your own already.
/sci/ I value your input on a logic problem.
What conclusion follows from the premise, "I've run out of meaningful things to think about."
Aw shit I just realized this pic says "Move" instead of "Glide." Not sure if I can laugh at it anymore.
Therefore, I've run out of meaningful things to think about. Tautology.

That's useless because it doesn't make the thought go away. Trying to avoid magical thinking here.
So what exactly is missing from this picture, apart from the dumb mistake x^n for n=-1?
Be as specific as possible, but it seems to me it's pretty complete.

That's a good question desu
I've always wondered that
Because P(n) = n^c is faster than P(n) = c^n, where c is any constant. It may not be faster for n smaller than 10/100/1000/etc., but will be for any sufficiently large input. In general small inputs take little time to evaluate, so it's better to care about bigger ones.

If all numbers can be found in infinity, does that mean all our math relates to a single point in some kind of dimension of infinity? Would it be an infinity inside a larger infinity?

>>8076452
If all regular numbers can be found in infinity, and infinity is a single unit, does that mean it can be represented as a point in a set, or an object, and if it can, what are the other points or objects in said set? And what does the whole of the set represent?
So /sci/
WE have a room full of particles or atoms if you like. And you cant put there more atoms Now lets place object to that room we have more there, but where did the atoms from that place went ? did they flew away ? where ? Or will some invisible power stop me from putting that thing there ?
>>8076160
tehy fly to space if u do this
when you add the new object all the molecules in the room are packed tighter together, so everything becomes slightly more dense. Have you ever tried to push something down a closed tube that blocked the air from escaping?
also, what language do you speak?
Yesterday i made a campfire and threw yet unidentified metal in it.
Said metal melted, and i have collected 206g of it.
Density is ~6.24g/cm3.
What material can this be?
I've tried to look it up but got nowhere.
It's more than twice as heavy as aluminium, but about half the weight of lead.
The fire had very hot moments and contained lots of charcoal and aluminium cans (that did not melt).
>METRIC SYSTEM ONLY
>>8075923
I filled it up to 600ml and added the metal.
The density is a bit inaccurate as i had to measure the water level with a millimeter ruler.
>>8075923
Seems like tellurium, honestly you just have to google the density and you get a metal that matches what you described almost perfectly.
It's tin
