I just bought a set of SHinko 805s for the Tiger, should be here in a few days.

That tire on the XR is non-DOT and while it had great traction probably lasted 700 miles. It still has a little life left but behind the 650 it wasn't hooking up well once it started to really wear. It's a Sedona MX907. I have the MotoZ Tractionator on now, seems to be working out well. Was stable up to 110 or so when I was chasing a KTM 1190 down at the rubber chicken ride.

i hate to break it to you but they are designed to lower noise not increase power....
It allows you to have a less restrictive muffler with a high compression piston because you do not need as much back pressure which with that engine really is pointless, do they even make high compression pistons for the drz?
Without it the power bomb is going to do nothing other than make the bike quieter and less powerful due to lack of back pressure (assuming you change the muffler) which if you didn't change the muffler, again, the fucks the point?

I don't know about curveys, but I know for pointys that specific GSX-R fork won't go on without machining so just keep that in mind if you crash it and need to replace the forks to check the headset width and see if it's been bored out or anything like that.

The Duke 690, unless your're talking about the new one is vibey, no wind protection, in general not suited to touring.
The Z750 is pigfat. You'd be better off with a GSR750 instead.
A half-faired FZ6/FZ1 would probably make for a decent tourer.
The Street Triple has zero wind protection, but you're leaned forward enough to counteract that a bit. It has a pretty extreme knee angle, close to a sportbike. Dat ground clearance though. The seat isn't very comfortable for a long day of riding.
Dunno about the Shiver.
