so I'm back after a 7 hour day looking for a new car, I dropped my listing from 27 possible models to 6...I sat in enough vehicles that I think I wore off some butt skin.

There's a company called Stickynomore that refinishes those panels for not much money. Not sure if the guy is just clueless or wanted to be sensational for the video. It's hard for me to believe anyone works on Ferraris and doesn't know about stickynomore though because every single car between the 355 and 575 has the same sticky rubber problem

How would this be as babby's first car?

I like mine. DSG in a hot hatch is really gay so I'd advise going with the six speed. It's just fun to drive I don't take mine seriously as a sports car it's just a peppy little commuting appliance that happens to be good at hugging corners. Which is kinda the whole idea of them. Do be mindful of regular maintenance it is a Volkswagen and i wont pretend they're known for reliability past 100k.

Not my car, but I found it in a thread here a while ago. Love everything about it.
There was also another pic that I have of a f150 traversing a snowy mountain road. I was an idiot and cropped out the sun without saving a second copy beforehand to make it my laptop's background pic. Anyone who can find the original pic of that f150 in the mountains gets brownie points.

The non-turbo 2jz is a little out of date, a little underpowered, and very heavy. I always wanted an IS300, but the mpg, weight, and lack of power is what really stopped me. Damn that car looks good tho.
I wish they brought the RS200 over, but ohwell. You can find the drivetrain of the BEAMS/6-speed at most jdm importers for cheap, but I don't really want to deal with a swap, so I just haven't bought one yet. Maybe some day.

I just got a 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SEL. I plan on doing some body work and a tune up making it all spiffy again.
I saw that there was an AMG version of this car and it looks absolutely amazing. I personally don't care about the TV and what not, but the body kit really does interest me. I may get some BBS mesh wheels to complete the look.
Opinions? Suggestions? Pic related is the car.

Very funny, I'm broke as hell and just needed a car because riding around on a motorcycle doesn't really work out in the cold or rain. I traded one of my project bikes for it with 200 bucks and got it. It shifts hard, is missing the front right turn signal, and overheats did to a fucked water pump.

My GF..she is pretty confident because she drives everyday since she is out of town.BUT boy oh boy she is 0..the parking is cringe worthy and never did the parking below 6-7 moves..she has almost collision encounters every other day because she can't approximate the size of the car and she is not aware of all objects in traffic.(Pro bono: once she drove for mountain trip..and on snakelike road she backed the car until the back wheels skid in gravel and she got angry because i exited the car in the next second).In the past i did not bother me...but recently she claimed she drives better than me cause she drives everyday and has more mileage.
How does/o/ proves others talk shit?I want some kind of test.

I have exactly the same problem as your GF, going so far as to drive around for 15 minutes just to avoid parallel parking. I have very poor depth perception from a squint I had at a very young age. It was corrected surgically, but only cosmetically.

I don't understand why people buy FWD hot hatches. Are they serious, or is it a meme here?
Why are you on a car enthusiast board if you think buying a FWD hatchback is the best use of your money?
I understand that they can be "fun", but it's fun in the same way that an Xbox One can be "fun" relative to a PS4 or a decent gaming PC.
For example, a base spec Ford Focus ST is like $24,500. Why would you buy that over a Mustang? Even the V6 mustang will handle better, be faster in a straight line, and has plenty of space for the two bags of groceries you buy, or your backpack or whatever.
If you're a retard who thinks weight exists in a vacuum irrespective of power, bear in mind that the V6 Mustang has a better Power:Weight ratio than the focus ST. So your "MUH PIGFAT" argument basically just affirms you're a high school drop out who could never quite wrap their heads around that whole "numbers" thing.
If you don't want that, there's the BRZ/FRS.
If you want AWD, you can get a WRX for basically the same money.
The new four banger Camaro also has a better P:W than the Focus ST, also very close in price.
I'm also not harping on the Focus ST in general, but the Fiesta too, as well as the Civic.
I mean, you have to be a complete retard to waste your money on a gussied up econobox when there are actual performance options in the same price bracket available to you.
