I fell in love with this car, but what are the pros and cons you guys have about it?
-Heavy
-Slow by modern standards
-Not very practical if you carry lots of people and/or stuff
-Most expensive car in its class (unless you count the 500L)
-Expensive to maintain
-Often expensive to insure if your insurance considers it a "luxury" car
-Understeer, understeer everywhere
-Lots of systems designed in "modules" where you have to replace a whole system in stead of a tiny part if something breaks
-Designed to be non-intuitive to work on to keep you using dealership service
>wants pros and cons
>is on /o/
>probably newfag who doesn't know what redpill is
>at least he didn't make another fucking redpill thread
I mean this is a non-patronizing way but Reddit would probably answer your question better.

Just completely wrong
-Expensive to maintain
LOL no, it's average
-Often expensive to insure if your insurance considers it a "luxury" car
Wrong again, you are just saying shit now
-Understeer, understeer everywhere
True
-Lots of systems designed in "modules" where you have to replace a whole system in stead of a tiny part if something breaks
This is a lot of modern cars, it's not 1985 anymore
-Designed to be non-intuitive to work on to keep you using dealership service
Wrong.

Fuck off, we know you like project cars 2 more.
Assetto Corsa finally got official OpenVR support! If you have a Vive you can use this instead of emulating the Oculus software and you'll get a few more FPS.
I'm still amazed at how real racing feels in VR. I can only remember two times while racing with a monitor that I wasn't thinking about playing a video game and actually felt like I was driving my car, but in VR the game is almost removed completely. I actually feel like I'm driving a car and can tap into that muscle memory better even with my poor DFGT pedals. I will say though that the resolution on the current headsets isn't great, so it's hard to see corners coming up from in the distance, especially ones after a long straight -- sometimes you don't have time to react like you could with real-life vision. If you're thinking about getting into VR right now, I'd probably wait for the next generation of headsets. Or you could jump in now and sell your headset and graphics card when the next gen of graphics card releases like I plan to do. Can't wait for 4K 120FPS.
Gentlemen. Are you ready to rev up those benchracing fingers?
The second season for the Ultimate Benchracing Touge Tournament of dreams Season 2 is coming soon.
Entry into the competition will come as a first-come, first-serve basis. Once we hit a cap of *42 people(*read thread*), entries are closed.
For those that don't know, the Ultimate Benchracing Touge Tournament of dreams Season 2 is a completely /o/ based benchracing tournament where anons post their cars, what mods they have done, and are randomly pitted against each other until one is crowned king of benchracing. Other anons will vote on who they think would win on the akina mountain pass (BOTH uphill and downhill) The conditions are going to be at night time, with no rain or snow and clear roads.
RULES:
>Rule 1:
the matches will be completely random. I am using challonge's match mixer and will screencap myself using the random sort button to nullify any arguments of me rigging the races. I did this last time but people still bitched so I'm just saying it now.
>Rule 2:
The voting will be done through google docs. Unfortunately last time I used strawpoll, but IP fuckery was happening which led to people fucking with the results for some races.
The bad: Unfortunately, this means you must log into a google account, which on 4chan seems like a bad idea.
The good: Me and the other possible admins of this firstly do not give a shit about who you are, and secondly, we will still not have access to any information about who voted. So despite you needing to log in, I can assure that the only thing we see is who you voted for, and when.
>Rule 3:
The "races" (I.E. voting period) will last for 48 hours from the time the races are started. I am able to see when people voted through google docs in the case that we are not able to check right at the 48 hour mark, but more votes are cast.
More info below; Good luck to all contestants.

How to enter your car:
Use our template and post an image of your car as well as what performance enhancing mods you have done to your car (led interior bulbs don't count). again, this is a first-come-first-serve basis up to 64 people so after that cap is hit, you cannot enter. Modifications must be either currently on your car, or you must show proof that they are already purchased.
Contestants, please do not bullshit the specs. If you are called out you are to be expected to provide some sort of proof whether it be a timestamp, dyno sheets or something of the likes. If you do not come up with evidence defending your case, the modifications will not be counted for the tournament
If your car has a nickname, feel free to include it in the post.
*why 42 people?
We are going to do an initial removal of 10 cars. We will make a google doc with all of the first 42 cars posted, then whichever 10 cars get voted off first will be initially disqualified. This is to both to enable more people to compete than 32, and get rid of any cars you guys do not think deserve to compete from the initial postings. The reason you think a car should not compete is completely up to you guys. You can discuss your reasoning in the thread and try convincing others.
Lemme know if you guys like the template or want a different one.

its cheap because its a moneypit hunk of garbage

This, you'll easily spend double what its worth keeping it running.
>>16908578
yeah, but no one ever explains why it's a moneypit. if you find one that has no obvious issues and runs then what is the issue? what all breaks?

Buying cars from people like that is always a nice experience.
I helped my mom by a used 08 Corolla, the son was selling it for his old parents. Nice guy to deal with, worked out a fair price, he delivered it to my mother's house, took off the plates, and I drove him back to his place in my moms old shitbox Mazda (which is now my headache). Everything went good.
All it takes is the right seller and right buyer to meet.

I like how it looks but in the end it is just another FF shit box.
had it been FR even if tad more expensive it'd be on the cover of every magazine for a year straight.
Honda just hates enthusiasts unless they're FF autists.
The appearance is utterly insane to the point where I appreciate it, even STI's look mundane next to it. If don't have a good design to begin with, you might as well overdo it to a point of having unique charm.
It's >FWD but that's what a Civic should be. Probably going to set a record lap time for FWD.
What would the price be and what would the gas mileage be?
I'm guessing Honda is trying to compete with the sti, so price is probably above $30k. But with the FWD idk
It looks overly designed, especially at the back. Those fake vents are so noticeable too.
>Spending more than the bare minimum on a car
You only need something to get you from A to B anon. Otherwise it's just a gratuitous display of wealth.

Ford is getting hit with a class-action lawsuit for falsely advertising the track capabilities of the GT350
It fucking overheats just like the Z06 KEK
>Once on the track, the Shelby GT350 Mustang can lose speed and power mid-drive, without warning and in as little as 15 minutes.
>Shelby GT350 Mustangs with the base model or Technology Package can overheat due to defective transmissions and rear differentials that cannot keep cool enough to function at high speeds without external transmission and differential coolers. When this happens, the vehicles reportedly go into Limp Mode, suddenly losing power and rapidly decelerating.

Americans BTFO again
>They are being represented by Hagens Berman, which achieved the then-largest automotive settlement in U.S. history – $1.6 billion against Toyota for a concealed defect. Hagens Berman is also leading the litigation against General Motors for its ignition switch defects, as well as various national lawsuits against Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz for illegal use of emissions-cheating software.
