>The experience and emotions tied to listening to Kid A are like witnessing the stillborn birth of a child while simultaneously having the opportunity to see her play in the afterlife on Imax.
>It's an album of sparking paradox. It's cacophonous yet tranquil, experimental yet familiar, foreign yet womb-like, spacious yet visceral, textured yet vaporous, awakening yet dreamlike, infinite yet 48 minutes.
>It will cleanse your brain of those little crustaceans of worries and inferior albums clinging inside the fold of your gray matter.
>The harrowing sounds hit from unseen angles and emanate with inhuman genesis.
What did they mean by this?

Question: Besides music, what do you make? Do you write poems, do you paint?
New album is on it's way guys, it should be ready by March.

I haven't really made anything noteworthy yet, maybe 2 album covers I painted, or a bunch of short poems for my noise albums as context.

Can we talk about this album? I've almost never seen anyone talk about it here, and it's so fucking good. O.O.B.E is orgasmic and Towers Of Dub could be the greatest dub track i've ever heard. Thoughts

It's a masterpiece. It has always been my favorite Orb album. I understand why "Ultraworld" is more popular but this is where they reached their peak, I think.
I discovered it in a very specific period of my life so it has great value to me for that reason. Regardless, it is an innovative, lush, funny, weird, otherworldly, sample-heavy and danceable album all at once.
Good thread, anon.

eyy thanks glad that someone agrees

This album is perfect. My favourite soundtrack for a psychedelic trip.

except for that intro song you mean
ITT: reasons you can't into music you otherwise would
I like Americana, I like singer-songwriters, I like brass and orchestras with my guitars. But this guy is so damned twee and quirky it puts me right off. Feels like he's winking and mouthing "this is like, so random and wacky, amirite?" between songs.
>so damned twee

...plus his song titles are unbearable.

weirdly enough i feel that way about fleet foxes, bon iver and father john misty but love sufjan and think hes being genuine
what album did you listen to?
Music ended here.
For your sake I hope your favorite albums made the cut because anything released after 1969 is practically non-existent in my eyes.
