The problem with shoegaze is that after you discover Loveless you realize there's really nothing good as it out there. All other "shoegaze" is either a pathetic imitation of MBV or a different genre altogether.

>CAUSE THIS IS THRILLER!
You have 10 seconds to name a more iconic song in hip hop history. Pro tip: you literally can't
Still D.R.E is the most timeless hip hop song that has ever been created. I thought it wasn't possible for there to be a song that's above everything else but this is it. No matter how many years pass when you hear the jingles in the beginning you will turn the mothafucking volume up.

Is disco as bad as everyone says it is?
>>70690978
mainstream disco is pretty cheesy pop mostly churned out by major labels looking to hop on the bandwagon
underground disco, post-disco, boogie, etc. is quality
>>70690978
It's mostly just over produced, depthless doo doo. I guess it could be worse, but there's not much good to say about it either.

Can we stop pretending hip hop is profound or on par with the best of rock in terms of lyricism?
I get it's "progressive" or whatever but let's be real here.
>>70690536
I'm not sure anybody has ever seriously claimed that rap is profound.

He's a big guy.
I thought he was a fucking cunt until I saw his spoken word last year. I met him after too.. And he was delightful!
