Every choice here is wrong, and Carrie & Lowell is a better album than all of them anyway
>>70704510
mentioning tame impala positively does not often go well here
>>70704537
Carrie & Lowell is a reedy directionless bore.

Alvvays - Ones who love you
our thoughts on the ressurection of lil ugly? personally i thought it was pretty cool
p good. hope he feels better soon.
One of my favorite albums of 2017 so far. Definitely liked it better than Oblivion Access, and I'm digging the more serious lyrical material. Hope he releases more under this alias.
Really liked it, haze of interference in particular is fucking brutal
Gonna give Oblivion Access a listen later since I haven't heard it and everyone has been comparing this to it

Explain yourselves.
>>70697763
i don't have to explain myself to the likes of you
the albums in the top row are garbage
listen to the composers in the bottom row and you will be listening to something worth your time
i find it hard to believe somebody that comes to /mu/ would need this explained to them
Who cares about the crusty "academics" in the bottom rows?
Self-important wankers who make music to wear as a proverbial tweed jacket.
Once you grow up out of your Avant-Teen phase, you'll realize how inauthentic and "hacky" so called academic musicians are. They're even bigger whores than pop musicians.
I keep having this dream where Animal Collective puts out a new album called "Spirit I'm Gone, Spirit I'm Dead" It's just 4 songs, My Girls Are Gone, What Would I Want? To Die, In The Coffin and Alvin Is Dead
They are all around 20 minutes. It sounds like the originals but just 20 times darker in both lyrics and production also, In The Coffin has 10 minutes of Avey Tare talking about his innermost fears and what happens when you die after a few minutes of silence
might actually make this one
Danse is better than spirit
