Not in the mood to make a top 40/42/100, so here's recent stuff I have been listening to instead.
>>71058583
I would say anywhere from about 6 months to a year.

Memes aside, is vaporwave worth getting into? If yes, what should I listen to?
>>71058074
Yes.
Start with some Iacon
>>71058074
Nah, 99% of it is talentless and generic. Only people on the fringe of the genre are worthwhile
well theres a bunch of different styles so it's kind of hard to just tell you what to listen to without knowing what youre interested in
do you like 1980s fuji film commercials?
do you like ambient film scores?
do you like the sonic the hedgehog soundtrack?
do you like old madonna?
or you could just start with eccojams

in normal circumstances he could easily get the albums back since he would definitely have a contract giving him the rights to sell the albums...but I'm guessing everything is just handshake agreements
what kind of music do intelligent people listen to?
i only listen to talk radio and chopin's spring waltz
Pop music and obscure music with so few fans that cannot be discussed
Ha! It's a catch question, there is no correlatio between the intelligence of a person and the music genre she listens to.
Thoughts on Bastille?
Personally, I like them.

Im convinced this is the great album off all time; prolly exaggerating but this was extremely good. Im still having a hard time coping with how amazing it is. Fav tracks well all of them but especially nightime and nosferatu man. Havent heard an album this monumental in a brick besides A promise by XIU XIU a couple of months ago.
Yalls fav tracks ?

what did he mean by this?
only nosferatu man is good
A long time ago I ran into Tegan Quin at a bar. I went up to her and introduced myself. I told her I was a big fan of her and her sisters work, especially The Con and Sainthood. It was going well until I accidentally called her Sara.
"Oh yeah," she said, clearly intoxicated and pissed off. "If you were SUCH A BIG FAN of T&S you'd know I wasn't Sara, you douche."
I tried to apologize, after all they do look quite similar, but she just kept getting madder and madder.
"I'm sick of straight, white hipster douches like you coming up and acting to fucking arrogant. Fuck off right now or I'll make you fuck off."
I was so shocked and stunned that I made the mistake of not leaving. Suddenly Tegan started throwing punches. I ran out of the bar but she pursued me. I was running for my life from her when suddenly I slipped on a patch of ice and faceplanted. Tegan got on top of me and started beating the shit out of me while singing Northshore. She left me for dead and I almost froze to death until a kindly Indian man took me to his house and nursed me back to health.
To this day I get violent PTSD when I hear Northshore.

Your fault for loving shit-tier trash.
The Con is great doe.
Tegan and Sara (Quin) are a duo (and identical twins) from Canada that harkens back to the age of the riot grrrrls. They merged folk and punk spirit on This Business of Art (2000), although the album ended with Superstar that had a broader non-folkish appeal. If It Was You (2003) was hardly relevant. The twin's sexual orientation (both lesbian) was the most repeated comment, a sign that the music was not all that revolutionary.

Pretty on point tbqh. People rarely mention Bob Mould's or Stephen Merrit's sexuality because they were actually great artists.
Is RYM worth using boys? Or should I just stick to /mu/ and Scaruffi?
it's great for cataloging and discovering
just stay the sam hell away from the community
>>71057156
thus
Do people really like Scaruffi? The man rates Pablo Honey = Kid A
