1. For what instrument? I'm assuming piano.

2. When you say "learn to read sheet music", are you just looking for how to read music or do you want to learn to sight read? The latter implies being able to sit down and just play something upon reading it, and is a related but more advanced skill than just being able to understand written music. I can read music fluently, for example, but my sight reading is poor.

Also I would like an appreciation of how music is deconstructed. I've come to the realisation that it would be better in the long run just to learn the language, but every time I tried to do it I always felt overwhelmed.
I don't like to admit it, but I'm hoping there is a course or a book out there that caters to people that really struggle with it.
