>album is so highly praised you can't listen to it because you might not be in the perfect mood and mindset to fully appreciate it
JUST
The first 6 minutes will easily convince you otherwise.
lysf is shit, you pleb

Yellow Claw

Yeah.
This is their label. Lil Debbie released an EP last month on it that's pretty dope, this track features my favorite producer.

Kanye West is not good. Anyone agree?
>>72387415
I don't think I've ever intentionally listened to any of his music, but from what I've heard in movies, radio, at bars, etc. it seems like he is a decent producer but a god awful rapper.
>>72387415
He's literally babby's first music, but he's okay i guess
>>72387415
Yeah he's great
Would any of you guys be interested in doing some crywank covers in more of a rock style? I could sing it and provide bass lines if anyone is interested.

Post-rock is glorified pop music for people who think they have good taste

not all post-rock is third-wave

Why do people like Frankie Cosmos? I don't get her acclaim.
Me 2 anon, her lyrics are simplistic as fuck and the compositions aren't interesting. Any time I bring this up to fans they just say her music is "nice"
>she girl
>she guitar
>she sing
>she indie
For real though I don't really know. What she does is mediocre and there are many artists that do basically the same thing that are much better. Such as Whatever Dad, Baby Mollusk, Hop Along, and especially Florist which sounds hilariously similar to Frankie Cosmos but better.
>>72387130
I mean, yeah. It is "nice," but nothing about it seems overly exciting or innovative.
"Yes I can play guitar"
Don't insult the greatest dadrock song of all time.

Is there any good Christian prog rock besides pic related?
>>72386955
Neal Morse
>>72386955
that has christian themes but its not christian. it also has reference to paganism and satanism.
Can Uncanny Valley be applied to music?
According to vaporfags, yes.
>>72386941
I guess that would require something to sound so real that it sounds like it's in the room with you. I think it could probably be achieved with really high quality recordings and a good stereo setup.
i dunno but that pic scared the shit out of me when i first saw it in the movie
You haven't forgotten about me yet, have you /mu/?
actually i have
FIGAROOOOOOO!

Lil b stopped being funny in like 2012. When 19 year olds started pretending they liked his music the meme was done
Been visiting /mu/ for 3 weeks.
May you explain why /mu/core is basically albums that got praised by some guy on the internet?
Are you really that hive minded and don't have actual taste?
And why following someone's taste is considered being patrician? if we imagine that this terminology actually means something, then it's actually the most plebian thing to do.
>>72386812
if not bait, lurk more
because /mu/ is the least intelligent board apart from /b/ and /r9k/
>>72386812

If Art Metal were a genre who would you say fits in it?
>inb4 >implying metal can be art
tool is the only band pretentious enough.
>>72386655
I'd say Deftones could fit as well
Some of the more reflective post-metal (Isis, Cult of Luna) and non-sporkcore avant-garde (Thy Catafalque) are what I'd consider "art metal", but those genres already have enough headassery going on so calling them "art metal" just makes it worse
5 months ago I didn't like shoegaze at all, couldn't stand it no matter what album I listened to, and now I'm listening to all the same albums again recently and loving them. Wtf happened?
mandela effect
the universe shifted and the shoegaze you heard before is from another dimension
>>72386626
Either the Mandela effect happens a lot to me forcing to constantly switch genres I enjoy, or I'm going crazy, and I don't really wanna believe I'm crazy so inter-dimensional travel it is
