I want to make videos of myself playing my digital piano. I want to record the audio via direct input because recording a DP through a camera speaker sounds like crap, but I obviously need the audio to be linked with the video which will mostly likely be shot separately with a smartphone. How do I do both at once?

Audio Technica ATH-M50X or Beyerdynamics DT 770/990 Pro? (Someone also mentioned ATH-M40X and said they sound more neutral than M50X)
The Audio Technica ones are 38 Ohm impedance only, whereas the DT 990 and 770 go up to 250 Ohm. What difference does the Impedance actually make, other that it requires more energy? If more Ohm = Better, why are the ATH M50 X so highly regarded at just 38 Ohm?
And lastly, which of these has a more neutral sound? When i googled about the DT 770 and 990 funnily enough i stumbled upon a high fi forum, where people just looked for "PHAT BASS" and not neutral sound, so i don't know...
Not sure if any album has given me the feels so quickly.
Try watching Phil perform those songs
I saw him in Oakland on the 14th, very front row looking right up at Phil. He's just another human doing his thing and all but it was still a powerful performance.
He performed two brand new songs. He started the show with a song called Distortion, which went through a lot of stuff from the past that he never sang about including a pregnancy scare with a random woman before meeting his wife, touring during post 9/11 time, lots of other stuff. Then he played A Crow Looked At Me from start to finish, and closed the show with another brand new song called Tin Tin In Tibet.
This second new song went through a detailed story of how Phil fell in love with Genevieve in 2003. Very comfy lyrics coupled with some lyrics literally about how he's touring around playing songs about her and how he's unsure if she would be okay with that.
New album coming up? Maybe...
Phil actually briefly mentions the topics touched on in Distortion in this interview he did months ago. Kind of surreal, I guess he was writing that song around that time? Maybe the interview inspired the song? Who knows. There's a specific lyric in Distortion about "people waving little flags" and Phil says something about people waving American flags and hanging them up while he was on tour in 2001.

Genevieve is t h i c c
I want to rape Genevieve's corpse in front of Phil while he's tied up and gagged since he's so skinny to handle, and then hold him and his daughter hostage for several years. Once the daughter is old enough, I want to tattoo on her forehead:

Was actually a very comfy era for music. Was in my early teens going through that phase where
>The Strokes, The Libertines, The White Stripes, Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, The Vines, The Darkness, The Hives, Arcade Fire, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
2001 to 2005 was so much more comfy for the rawk than this current era.

Why does Lou Reed do an Indian accent on the Gift?
it's John Cale reciting so it's a welsh accent I guess

So he has done a gay voice, now this?

"LOL GORILLAZ WERE ALWAYS LIKE THIS"
No, they weren't.
Yeah, they were hiphop from the start, with some various artists that complimented the style, but there's a difference between the feature in Clint Eastwood and the "feature" in Momentz or Ascension.
The band originally was a concept band, formed by Albarn and a comic artist Jamie Hewlett, with at least some focus put into visual style of Hewlett and the characters that made up the virtual band.
Now it's just Albarn's happy cuck music amalgamation to preach politics and focus more on the features than on Albarn's writing and production.
Who even fucking cares about the virtual band anymore? the video of them in the spooky house told no story, added no characterization, it's just fluff added on to say "oh hey, right, we were this band before i think". Plastic beach and Demon day's plot and concept totally thrown out the window.
They had style and cohesion in past albums, Humanz is just a mixtape to sell you on other people's music, not Albarn's.
Humanz is not a gorillaz album.
debut, plastic, humanz
The stuff I've heard for Humanz has generally been pretty good (I liked Saturnz Barz, Andromeda, and We Got the Power) but man stuff like Ascension is just really shitty to hear. It's not anywhere close to the light-hearted and catchy classic hip-hop that older Gorillaz was keen to deliver. It sounds like generic shitty groid music.
I really hope the full album isn't just filled with junk like that.
