This is my favorite album of all time.
I find it fascinating in every respect, with the meticulously crafted instrumentation and beyond strong songwriting. Historical references and geographical context abound on so many different moments within the record, and every collaborator is used to their greatest extent. Human rights are asserted by the LP as well, such as lyrics against racism in Jacksonville and pro-homosexuality ones in The Predatory Wasp. Come On Feel The Illinoise is a song with infinite lasting appeal to me, and near the end of the record when it breaks off into harmonizations and more subtle orchestrations, it brings yet another impressive side to an already astounding record. Not enough could be said about Illinois, and it will continue to adamantly resist deconstruction at the hands of analysts.

Not my favourite of all time, but I really enjoy this album. A lot more consistent and organized than Michigan, and all of the risks he took on this album I find really paid off (which is my biggest gripe about Age of Adz)

I think i've reached another period of "being devoid" of music, especially in the long boring headache inducing summer

Seriously i'm just flat and uninspired no real musical catharsis or inspiration, just devoid of any genre or music, feels depressingly empty.

Is this how people with no musical appreciation feel like, just bored and devoid of emotional connection, i met people who don't connect to music other than generic stuff without "depth"

I've been avoiding music when it's inconvenient, for example i don't listen to the radio or can't stand the radio in public places, makes it hard to breath.

I think i might've turned myself into something i despise, i think i've conformed to not tolerating any real depth due to the feelings it evokes, general public doesn't like to dig deeper it takes effort.

Just end it already. i can't connect anymore, just indifference an apathy.
