What's wrong with this album again?
>>74904149
it's good and i like the length of it
>>74904178
It got shit on for no reason when it came out.
It's WAY better than the hipster shit that was Soused
The best song was already in Domkirke and this version is a lot worse. The other two songs aren't any good. The whole thing sounds rushed and lazy.

Most of Grazhdanskaya Oborona's discography. Takes some appreciation for Russia's recent history though.
How did this become the most popular song of all time? The artist was a literal nobody before it.

>start frequenting it again
>vaporwave threads are identical to how they were in 2014
It's a meme but that doesn't mean it isn't legitimate. In fact the meme culture and aesthetics associated with it make it entirely unique. I believe that it is the first sincere genre of music spawned from the internet, for better or worse.

The most bullshit music magazine?
>>74903890
That goes to Rolling Stone.
The NME may have pleb tastes, but in terms of pop culture opinions, they're a lot more respectable than a lot of sources, including Rolling Stone. For example, their obsession with the garage rock revival in the 00s was cringey since it was such an inaccurate, commercial take on indie music. But that still put them way above the rock magazines of the era that were focused on nu metal and emo-pop, like Alternative Press. Plus, NME was always okay with early punk stuff. I sort of saw it as the poor man's Q, which isn't a great magazine either, but hey, it was something.
I was a teen in the 00s, and I seem to remember the cool magazines were Loud Fast Rules! (punk), Maximum Rock n Roll (hardcore punk), Deathrock Magazine (goth), and MOJO ("classic rock")
I think overall, Alternative Press is the worst music magazine I know.
>AND YOU'RE GETTING ME DOWN, GETTING ME DOWN, YOU'RE GETTING ME DOWN
Is the hardware route worth it these days? Track recorders, hardware samplers, synths, effect pedals, and so on
It costs much more, but frankly I don't like the idea of buying software, something that can be lost if your computer breaks or/and becomes obsolete every few years. Something hardware will have great use all of it's life if looked after

mine is pic related; I know that this album isn't very good and only has one objectively great track (...And So to F...), but I still can't help loving it the most of Brand X's albums, even though their first two albums are objectively much better
I'm watching the death note anime and I thought I heard an aphex twin song in the soundtrack, am I imagining that?
