Nirvana had quite a few.
Ok, i just got back from listening John Coltrane's Om and all i have to say is: what is wrong with critics? what the hell, this is an awesome fucking album
Agreed, I think this is a dope album. My explanation is that critics are plebs who were expecting more straight forward hardbop and should fuck off.
probably too scary for them. incredible album though.
What does /mu/ think of Pallbearer?
I really enjoy Sorrow and Extinction and Foundations Of Burden. Heartless is a smidge cheese, but still pretty good.

1-) Super Collider [180 Gr. Mp3 Download Voucher] by Megadeth (It's a shit tier album i think but whatever)
2-) Texas flood by Steve Ray Vaughan
3-) Vagabonds Of The Western World [Limited Edition 180 Gr.Lp+Mp3 Download Voucher] by Thin Lizzy
4-) History Of Hostility (Coloured Vinyl) by Panthera
5-) Difficult To Cure [180 Gr. Mp3 Download Voucher,Limited Edition] by Rainbow
6-) Straight Between The Eyes [180 Gr. Mp3 Download Voucher,Limited Edition] by Rainbow

I love that album and unfortunately I have yet to find anything that quite hits the same sweet spot
You might wanna check out their self titled EP, which has some good stuff
also, in case you don't know, one of the band members died, and the rest of them formed another band called "Preoccupations", which was at first called "Viet Cong"
They have an EP and two LPS. It's not quite the same, and I still think Public Strain is my fav material, but there is some quality stuff in there for sure
there single from their first LP is probably my fav by them:

I'd say it's overall a more...aggressive sound than Women. Less of the slower, more contemplative tracks that you'd hear on Public Strain
I recently listened to something, which i was recommended on /mu/, that is sort of similar, especially in mood/vibe. In that it has like, driving pop-ish bass and guitars at times, but abrasive distortion:
