save up your money, move to socal, seattle, new york or any other city with a thriving music scene.
go to open mics, talk to people you think are interesting, share ideas, make music together, etc.
t. in the same position except im 20, have been writing song ideas since i was 14, and have only been playing an instrument seriously for a year.

The reason I had to move to Georgia with my sister was because at the time I had no choice. It was either Georgia or move in with drug addicted mother.

Actually the complete opposite happened for me. 1st listen I thought it was surprisingly good but it kept on getting worse with every listen until I realised it's garbage. Rooting for My Baby remains her only good song.

No way hahaha. The sensual world is good, but it sounds too 80s for my taste. Hounds of Love and The Dreaming are her true masterpieces. Aerial, Never For Ever and The Kick Inside are better albums too.
