Name better metal. I'll wait.

>listening to atmoshit
>>73889447
how is fucking nightwish atmoshit?
>>73889100
I like power metal and big, overblown cheesy music. I fucking love Rhapsody. But I can't for the life of me get into Nightwish. It's just too much.
>tfw I hurt myself today
Music for this feel? And don't say Hurt by Nine Inch Nails.
>>73889077
Hurt by Johnny Cash
>>73889077
Hurt by Charles Monroe & His Nine Inch Nails

>people still listen to Burzum when Goatmoon exists
Why, why do people do this?
Goatmoon did black metal better, he did political thought better, and he did atmospheric and traditional/folk tones better too.
Can't believe this isn't a common thing yet...
Share your mixcloud mixes, listen to others, discuss, ask questions, give feedback. And BE CIVIL.
Here's mine...

>funk >hip hop >electronic >folk >jazz
>a little bit of everything
I started making mixes to send to a local radio station I want to DJ at, but no one else has heard them besides the people at the station. If you've got mixes that you think deserve to be heard post them.
What are good headphones for mixing and producing music?
>My budget is around $100
AKG K 240. Like $65 on amazon right now, they're professional grade and come with a huge ass cable for walking around the studio and a nice screw on adapter for equipment with the larger jacks. It's got a plenty flat and accurate sound reproduction ability, don't expect to really enjoy listening to music with them. That's not what studio phones are for. Also they're real comfy which is nice when you need to wear them for a couple hours at a time.

that's not a debut
! Noise thread !
Pic unrelated
I have been listening to early Prurient and it hurts my ears but I really like how he uses the atonality of feedback as like a really abrasive dark ambient and how he uses very unmusical sounds in a musical way, what do you guys thinks of early prurient
Who else /noiseprod/? Post your gear
there's zero chance (no pun intended) he isn't a psyop, right?
>>74073271
I don't know about psyop but he's the definition of an industry plant.
Sick of seeing his face plastered everywhere like the Dear leader of bland "positive" "woke" hip-hop
Explain? I figured he was just the current corporate attempt at...well, like this guy said
>>74073294
But how would he be a psyop? What message is he even trying to push (beyond Buy Kitkats)?
he doesn't seem like a real person
There's just something about him that I can't place. He feels like a body without a conscience or soul.
Like if white people tried to engineer the hippest and most profitable black person using heuristics and meta data.
ITT pleb music that's good
I work for a summer camp and take kids around 10 years old on field trips pretty often. Sometimes we go pretty far so it's nice to have music to listen to but it always ends up either with me putting my music on and the kids hating it, or me putting on the radio and listening to shit ass songs that feel like people only listen to them because they're forced to.
So I need some music that'll work as a good compromise. The only thing I can think of so far is 21 pilots
Gorillaz I guess
Rap I think kids like
Beat Connection, any track from their latest album goes down well if you want to play shit people don't know
>>73888757
I've played gorillaz for them before and it's kinda hit and miss. I think gorillaz are a little too old for most of the kids to know about
E.g. I put on Mr brightside once and they complained that I was playing "old 80s music"
>Turn on the radio
>Hear someone singing about the heroes and legends of old
>Achilles was famous for his gold
What?
what are your guilty pleasures anon?
DonĀ“t worry, we all have that one track (or genre).
2000's techno was hype as fuck.
